View Full Version : ok i cant play a macth in the beta without a game crash

ok i know this will sound like a waste of time but i like ot be able to use 1 pc to run all the C&C games not just all but the beta on 1 adn the beta on the other 1...

i am able to play it but i dont like the other pc... its a lot slower but yet it runs fine o.o but i like a faster pc to run it....

ok so here is the problem i can get it to open i can get it online i can make a room/join 1 and when it (idk which 1) either crashes before or as soon as its about to start.

any ideas y?

If you are running xfire, turn it off. After I did that the game ran fine until someone dropped from the match I was playing then the game crashed.

yes i am :P i didnt think about the xfire causing it
o yea i reload the beta and that happen my mate left as soon as he did that my game crsahed... but then it went rigth back to the gaem crashing

but i will try turning off the x fire tomorrow i am banned from games today (9/05/08) but i will see if that will help :D (will edit this out and i will post a new post tomorrow)

Yep, its xFire. Happened to me too.

That latest patch fixed it, I believe, but no garuntees.

The most basic response I can give you is that it's a multi-purpose IM chat engine. However, it is quite unique, because it is designed to detect when you are playing a game, and then allow you to pop up a chat window in your game while you are playing and chat with your friends without interrupting your game.
