I didn't see anything here.. sorry if I missed it. But for those of you waiting for a PS3 portal, it has been cancelled. :\

I don't think anyone was looking forward to RA3 on the PS3, so I don't think anyone will make a fuss about it.

Well, I sure was. Why the hell is it that the 360 is the only system getting all of the good strategy ports!?!:gnasher:

I think its been stated that the PS3 engine is a bit difficult to work with.

Yeah, I've heard that as well. Same goes for the Wii at times as too, especially if you're trying to port a game for it from the other two systems. It's a real pity, since the PS3 is a real powerhouse which could definately run some of those super-high end games that the PC has.

*SgtRicko is now seriously praying that they don't cancel the PS3 version of World In Conflict: Soviet Front*:ashamed:

Imagine the sheer awesomeness of a RTS on the Wii.

:D

I like my Wii. I'm just mad they're not making Street Fighter 4 for it.

Probably because the Nintendo would have to make a new controller to be suitable for it, because the Wii sure as heck ain't fighter-friendly.

I read somewhere that will be for Xbox but not for other consoles. This is a good reply to the bastards at Lucas which didn't make their game for PC.
And anyway the controller is not good for a game which is mainly played using mouse and keyboard.:\

I still say RTS games belong on the PC, and only the PC.

You simpily can't do all the things you can do with a keyboard on a controler.

My friend has it for the 360, I've played it, it's not bad, but by concentrating everything into that wheel control set up, it takes precious time to get to where you need to be on that menu, and RA3 is all about speed.

Not to mention the Unit cap! Boooo.

Oh yes, 50 units, and not to mention, miners and engineers count as units towards the limit, odd considering they didn't even on the 360 version of CnC3

RTS on consoles tend to be a bit crap on consoles anyways so no loss. I could never get used to playing an RTS without a mouse and keyboard.

...Way to show compassion for the less fortunate who can't afford to constantly upgrade their towers...:hmm:

*Ricko silently weeps to himself, since he can't play any of the new PC stuff*

You don't have to upgrade your tower if you have a decent one to start with. I concur that RTS games on consoles suck.

RTS and FPS I can't really justify on consoles. But I only say this because I've used the PC for so long.

I do actually have a few FPS's for the PS3 and starting to get used to it. Surely with time I'd get used to RTS games too but meh! I'll stick to PC for now! xD

I prefer my FPS's on consoles solely because of the issues I have with WASD movement and the occasional (and really annoying) accidental press of a wrong key or two. That never happens to me with a controller, ever. But with an RTS, it mainly depends on how complicated on the game is, or how much precision control is required. For something as complicated as WarZone 2100 or Rome: Total War I'd choose the PC setup, but for any of the C&C's I could go both ways with no big fuss.
