Over the weekend I got a tad bored, so went surfing on the net for a clue to the next C&C RTS game that EA will produce, which will most likely be in the Generals Universe. Occasionally an EA employee or ex-employee will let a word or two slip on a blog, forum, etc. Nothing was to be found, but what I DID find was an interesting story HERE (http://www.gamepro.com/article/news/207289/ea-employee-gets-paid-to-watch-football/) about a dream job that one lucky EA employee has. Sure beats manual labor. As for myself, I've always wanted to run a Wal-Mart superstore, or at least manage their computer and electronics department. Not necessarily a dream job...just a dream of mine. Their electronics department needs a makeover, least the one in my neck of da woods does. I'm a fan of the now deceased Sam Walton, founder of Wal-Mart. Read his book at least a dozen times. So now it's YOUR turn. What would your dream job be?

I want to be an Aerospace Electrical Engineer for Power Systems. I got my 2 year degree at my college, but I need at least a Bachelor's degree to get my foot in the door on that field. I had an internship at Bionetics over at Kennedy Space Center, it was cool. They crossed my jobs between electronics and power systems, of course it was just on the low voltage stuff... (Still got to be careful, because there is nothing low about it...) A lot of companies had a contract change over in my area, just waiting for an opening in some reasonable position to get in and have the company help with my school cost.

Well Believe it or not, I am going to college to learn how to make video games. i want to design the levels. Yeah sure you have not seen me post anything about C&c levels but i have been working on them, mostly in the UT department.

Easy!: College Prof of Eastern European History or American Foreign Policy at some small University.

And that's what I'm {hopefully} going to ultimately be able to reach too... So it's like an attainable dream job, I guess?

An unattainable dream job would definitely be a job as a professional Dinosaur Wrangler/Farmer/Rider.

Hard to beat getting paid to watch football, although I'd rather watch college games.

There's somebody here on the Den who's interested in Cryptzoology. Team up with him and go search for Nellie and Mokele Mbembe. :D

As a philosopher you have to think about what you say first. You are thinking of a talk radio host. Those guys are paid not to think.

I would like that too, getting paid to spout mis-informed drivel and having yahoos and morons ring in to spread their own ill-thought-out views would be awesome. It's like having your own blog, but in a format that people actually pay attention to.

Enjoy your Arugula :p

My dream job is designing video games, and that's what I'm doing. Currently part of a student development team, and in December we will be officially releasing our game to the world.

My dream job would have to be IT Manager/Network Administrator of some major company at least. I'm a big IT person and love doing that kind of stuff.

Well I never said they don't have to think about what they say but I get what you're saying.

A&P Mechanic for a big company that owns only one privet Jet/Helicopter.
I would know that aircraft inside/outside/upside/flightside and be able to keep it at such a fine level of maintenance that not a single screw would be off a even a pound of torque than what it was designated to be.
