I'm wondering about the legality of such a mod.
EA seems pretty lax with regards to modding in the C&C community.
For example, I believe I heard/read that the A Path Beyond team had switched to a different engine entirely, or are using a severly "modified" version of the W3D engine.
I wonder if it also helps that the team is modding older games? For example if someone made a total conversion of Half Life into an FPS version of C&C3:KW, I think the team might have some legal problems with that.
But what if it was from the older games, say TS or TD? Or maybe EA wouldn't have a problem at all?
Maybe someone more familiar with this could fill me in?
Thanks
LC
