Well! The Mrs and I have been renting this house for 2 years and 5 months now, and although it's a great little house it's a bit.. Cold. Windows aren't properly sealed, front room is laid out funny with the stairs taking up a lot of room. It's fine for the 2 of us and our cat but with a babey on the way we've decided to shift our arses.

The house we viewed yesterday is quite a bit smaller but laid out far better. It was only built in 2005 but isn't cold!! The kitchen is far better quality and the space in the front room is better utilised. Not to mention it has three bedrooms while the house we're in now only has 2.

Clicky This Link (http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-11377908.html?pageNumber=1&backToListURL=%2Fproperty-to-rent%2Ffind.html%3FsearchType%3DRENT%26locationIdentifier%3DREGION%255E1155%26radius%3D0.0%26displayPropertyType%3D%26minBedrooms%3D%26maxBedrooms%3D3%26minPrice%3D500%26maxPrice%3D600%26maxDaysSinceAdded%3D%26sortByPriceDescending%3D%26_includeLetAgreed%3Don%26primaryDisplayPropertyType%3D%26secondaryDisplayPropertyType%3D%26oldDisplayPropertyType%3D%26oldPrimaryDisplayPropertyType%3D%26oldSecondaryDisplayPropertyType%3D%26letType%3D%26letFurnishType%3D%26houseFlatShare%3Dfalse%26x%3D109%26y%3D6&locationIdentifier=REGION%5E1155&maxBeds=3&radius=0.0&maxPrice=600&minPrice=500) to see the front of the house and the rear garden. I'll have to get some more pics of it when we do move / if we do move (Fingers Crossed we do...) The drive is big enough for 2/3 cars which is great and the back garden is a fair size too, along with a handy shed for my bike to go in.

Sure, some of you may not care, but I like to ramble about things! :D

So will you be renting again or buying this time?

Renting. Unfortunetly with the way things are at the moment there's no possible way for us to get a mortgage. Not one big enough for a decent house atleast. If we can manage to get up a decent deposit then maybe. We're completely debt free now so once a deposit is availble... Fingers crossed.

I feel you on the front of a mortgage; now is like the worst possible time to be trying for such a thing!

Update on it...

Sorted out all the forms today and gave in copies of our income / identity etc.

We've managed to make our rent go down by £25 a month by agreeing to a 12 month contract instead of a 6 month contract. We don't plan on going anywhere soon.

All they have to do now is get Character refrences for us both and settle it. We should have the keys within 7-14 days. If this is the case.. On the 19th of this month we'll give in our months notice for this current place and have a month to shift all of our gear. Shouldn't be too much of a bother seen as it's only about a mile away from where we are now.

Camel - Where abouts are you? We travel a fair bit :P Edit... Nevermind. Helps to look near your avatar! :D

sorry! My GF came over right when I was starting on this-- I got uh... distracted J_t

(actually, we did a crossword puzzle- but it was distracting!)

I'll see if I can't bang it out tonight.

I'll see if I can't bang it out tonight.

Bow Chika Bow wow! [/Tucker]

anyways, sine I had to do that and I didn't want to get a Spam infraction I decided to try my hand at the PhotoShoping.

First I tried getting the angle right, but that didn't work. So I stopped trying to do that and decided to let Trixxxie do it.
So instead I decided to give you an idea what it would look like without any exhaust. But when I deleted the original exhaust I accidently deleted the tire, too. So rather then fix this I decided to give you an idea what your car would look like if you took off the rear wheels and put on a hovercraft system. But when I was fixing the shadows after removing the rear left tire I made a mistake, and rather then fix it I decided to give you an idea on what your car would look like with Neon lights that matched the sun perfectly, making it appear as if your car had no shadow.
So when I added the Neon I realized how unpimped your car was. So I decided to give it a nice two tone, then I tinted your rear window! Plus I gave it a kickass name! (Toyota Corolla just sounds lame, no offense. But "Yo Rolla'" is kickass!)
Once I got done with all of those l337 mods I realized that your licensed plate was messed up. First off, what kind of custom plate name is 'MW05 ZCZ'? Is there a joke there? Well anyways I went and had it reregisted and gave it a new badass plate! Now no body's gonna mess with you, dawg!
Also, I didn't recognize those state plates, so I gave it the most awesome state plates the fine US of A has to offer!
Enjoy your new l337 ride, yo homeboi!

This has been another 'Pimp My Ride: Blu Edition'! Tune in next time to see me pimp up my homeboi KO's truck! It'll be sweetass!

SiDeWiNdEr
01-14-2009, 04:16 PM
Well I've had various contacts with refrancing agencies getting all my details together for the house. Fingers crossed we'll have the keys within a week.

The website where the house was advertised now has a big 'LET OUT' sign next to it, which is promising. Also means nobody else is allowed to go view it. :D

FireAtomicman

that's a really nice house compared to the other one you described good luck with tthe move.

SiDeWiNdEr
01-17-2009, 10:37 AM
Ok,

So the Newspapers that advertise houses now have "LET" on the house, We drove around ealier to have another look as it's on the way to my Grandads house.

The sign outside now says "Another LET by Edwards Grounds" instead of "To Let". Apparently the Landlord would like to have this all completed within 2 weeks. So.. Today is the last day of the first week. Fingers crossed this time next week I'll have the keys to the house! We've already started packing things up. Even throwing things out / giving to Charity shops.

It's amazing how much crap you gather over the years. The Mrs is throwing out / giving away so many clothes that she can't fit in to anymore. We won't need a wardrobe.. haha.

Righto.. Spoke to a girl at the Agents today.

Apparently all my references have been received and I've been accepted as a 'good tenant', Which is good!

They've just received the last of my partners references today and will call me tomorrow to say if she's passed or not. She did however say that It looks as though it's all going through.

We've set up a meeting on Thursday at 11:00 to sign a few pieces of paperwork and receive the keys. How exciting! :D

Woop!

Have to go and sign some forms tomorrow at 1100hours, drop off a lovely £1310 Deposit and I'll have the keys! So over the weekend I shall be moving!

Only downside to that is I wont have access to the web for a few weeks until we get new Broadband sorted. Unless someone is kind enough to leave me an unprotected Wireless connection... ;)

No, definitely not rich. We're well below the national average. But the cost of living is so cheap overall that we end up better off.

Ok, i didn't know it was so cheap. Hope it presents a good business to those who need then.

Oh, Side, that's a wonderful place you have there mate. Very very nice. And with 3 bedrooms?! I see you're planning into contributing to the increase in Britain's population statistic some more... :)

And it looks, by the look at the window, that your house belongs to a gemini neighborhood, isn't it? I always loved these!

Alrighty.... So I've been inactive for a few days. That's 'cos I'm nearly all moved in to my new home now. We've left our phoneline and PC around here at the mo as it's still connected to the internet (I'm at the old home now..)

Scanned for Wireless to jack but they're all protected. >:

Will build my new PC soon and get it setup in the new house ready for tinterwebs! I'll also get some pics up of it furnished if/when I can :D
