Hey, guys! I'm new to the community. I want to make some nice skirmish/campaign maps, but I have a huge editor malfunction on my hands.

You know the "Object Properties" window? I don't have that. It just DOESN'T appear. It's been bugging me for a while, because I want to make a skirmish map that relies entirely on Tiberium Spikes (crazy, I know!). I can't exactly place the Spikes if I don't have the window. How do I get this back up?

With regards,

This is the tutorials section.

You know I read a thread, on the official forums I think it was, where someone had this exact problem. I think the only solution was to back up any maps or modifications, and to completely uninstall the game, delete any leftover folder, delete and registry entries it left, and reinstall the game and the worldbuilder.

umm, could it possibly be appearing off screen? as if the program thinks there is a second monitor, or maybe it just appeared out of bounds for whatever reason. maybe start the app, and change the screen resolution to huge or small and maybe it will appear.

It's a separate window altogether. I tried what you suggested nonetheless, but no dice.

[ Oh, and sorry for posting the thread in the wrong subforum! ]

As it turns out, the window was barely visible (at the bottom of the screen), probably from an older experience with it. Sorry for the confusion. :P

Yeah the problem seems to stem from it being dragged off screen. The problem is, if you're already at your monitor's maximum resolution, it can be downright impossible to find it at the edge of the screen without increasing resolution (which you can't).

I know. Again, sorry for putting the thread in the wrong subforum.

I'll be posting my map when I'm done with it. :)
