That's right, on Thursday I'm going to be going to my first concert (I'm not counting the Billy Ray Cyrus concert my parents dragged me to when I was 10)

But I'll be going to Bob Dylan concert near Atlanta two days from now. I'm pretty excited!

Dylan is one of the most unique and original musical artists in history. I hope I can get to one of his shows before he's done playing in public for good...

I think I heard a commercial for that Dylan concert tour in my area recently...

So take the chance, you lucky bitches...:p Dylan is really an icon (never been on a concert of him though:\).

Interesting! I'm a fan of his, though I don't know if he's the god people make him out to be. He managed to become very mainstream with folk music, so I guess that's something else!

He self admittedly can't sing worth a **** though, haha. I was watching a live performance he did in his early days and whew! Almost painful

Do enjoy :D

Yeah, he is an icon, and he's been at it for a while. I was telling my mother how I was going to see him and she told me she wrote a report on him in high school.

Actually my music professor told me she'll let the Bob Dylan concert count for one of my concert reports (we were originally supposed to attend two classical orchestra concerts and write reports on those.

So that's pretty weird, but neat. Tomorrow's the concert.

Well he almost invented the genre of folk rock, and is still one of the best songwriters around.

The only concert I went to was a sit-down concert for Thomas Dolby.

Would I get beat up if i say I like Johnny Cash over Bob Dylan?

rock and metal bands are the only good ones for concerts imo...
so far the best concert i've been too was the Korn tour in aus with disturbed playing support...man it was epic, disturbed was friggin awesome!!!
if only HIM and slayer would do a tour down here too....then i can die happy :)

Naah I like Johnny Cash too. I think the two actually collaborated on a few songs, I'm not sure though.

Anyways, I'm back, and I have to disagree that the only good concerts are metal. Actually, Dylan played a lot of rock and blues based rock. Excellent concert, very much worth the trouble of getting down there. :p

He doesn't have as much control of his voice, but still, the dude is a legend and threw down last night. I'll have to post some pics once I get them loaded up.
