Well, if I was not so interested in the story and how it will end, then yes it would almost be a good reason to not buy this game.

Unit caps. Indeed, sooo un-command & conquerish.
What else is there to say about it? Like it or hate it.
I guess in the coming months/year we will know more about the why and how, and then we can go beyond groaning. ;)

****, I wasn't buying this game as soon as I heard that there weren't going to be bases. This is just icing on the cake.

Yeh, I mean, first of all: Kane negotiating with GDI... .The dude is the hardest anti-GDI fanatic and now he also has to work with pop limits. Ok, I can agree not all of his soldier-candidates can be accepted, but that is just redicolous:wtf:. And oh, he is instantly defeated when his internet connection is only for a small moment interrupted...

I hope EA puts out a message soon saying this all was just a sick joke.

actually, now that the world is infested with tiberium beyond any hope of recovery, kane might be willing to work with gdi, afterall the main reason he hated gdi was because gdi tried to suppress and destroy tiberium, now that gdi is no longer trying to stop tiberium growth, they might not have to shoot each other on sight...

guess we'll just have to see...

but when you walk past the game in the store, with its shiny cover, big-bright-in-your-face sale price sticker everywhere, and the game placed subtly, yet not so subtly to be in your way and getting your attention. You'll end up picking it up just to cure your curiosity. next thing you know, you're at the counter swiping the credit card!

I used to do that too, but I found out only paying a visit to the game store when you know which game you are going to buy, gives a much higher chance to come home with a decent game.

For now I decided not to buy the game. If it turns out by some or other mircale that it is a good game, I might reconsider my decision.

What's wrong with classic tank spamming?

There's a better solution to fix this...don;t make sucky units and ballance the stuff each yeam can get...so no unit goes without use.

As things unroll I am getting less excited about the game... I am at like 70% yes and 30% no... the unit cap... really ruins my fun :/, prohapps anti-lag friendly... but losses my interest in fun in the game... I like to make a crap load of units with my friends to see who can make the bigger and better army faster.. but that ruins my side fun games...

I think if they do something stupider... its buyers are gonna drop 10% prohaps 15% (including mine), and it has to be bad if I dont buy it... I will not lie I am a hard core fan.
