As this is my first post i'd like to say hello to all you map makers, modders (and gamers) :)

I would like to share some scripts that i've made for RA3.

Included are 16 scripts. (DOWNLOAD AT BOTTOM OF THIS POST)

If anyone comes across bugs or something that doesn't fit please let me know and i can make adjustments ;)

Install Notes:

Uninstall the previous pack, (If you have it) and extract this new pack to your custom script folder. (Read below)
To install these scripts, there is no required folder for them however for ease of use,
i recommend creating a new folder in your AppData/Red Alert 3 folder called "Scripts" and extracting the files there.
Then to add them to your map, in WorldBuilder go Edit > Scripts > Import Script(s) and choose whichever script you desire.

NOTE: ALL Scripts must be added to (neutral) folder in order for them to work.
(Tip is don't choose any folder when first importing the scripts, by default they should be added to this folder)

You can have more than one script running at once but DO NOT add all of these at once because No Navy + No Infantry + No Vehicles + No Air Units = Not very exciting game :p

Hi thanks for posting this. I have added the 'no superweapon' script to: scripts/PlyrCivilian.. is this right? Ive still been able to build superweapons in skirmish. It also told me my map size was different to the one intended in the script.. does this matter.. does it need to be exactly the same size. Grateful if you can help

Ok an update;

I tested all the scripts now and made some heavy adjustments, also added a few more handy ones bringing the total scripts to 12.

New scripts are;

Air Units Only
All vehicles, navy units and infantry disabled.

All Upgrades
Pretty self explanatory, All upgrades and special abilities unlocked.

Disallow Upgrades
Opposite of above, All upgrades and special abilities disabled.

Naval Only
All vehicles, infantry and air units disabled.

Vehicles Only
All naval units, infantry and air units disabled.

Install Notes:
Uninstall the previous pack, and extract this new pack to your custom script folder.

Not quite, when you open up the scripts window you should just click import scripts straight away, it should be added to the Neutral player.

Nope doesn't matter. Also when you import the script, it will look like the textures on your map change, this is a WorldBuilder bug and can be easily fixed by going View > Reload Textures (way down the bottom)

Thanks Jenkins.. It works fine for the allies and soviets.. but the Japanese can still build theirs for some reason. But thats ok for now. :)

I updated the O.P with more info and more scripts and also includes a fix for your problem plus other fixes and balance changes.

Hopefully there shouldn't be many more problems :)

That is very weird because it works for me (On at least 7 different maps i've tried them on)... Sounds like you did everything right...

Couple of silly questions;
1. Did you save the map after adding the script?
2. Did you press Apply after adding the script in the Script window? (i don't have to do that but it may be causing the problem)

Ok fixed..

The only thing i changed was you had the script imported into 2 different folders. I removed the duplicate script from SkirmishNeutral folder and left the one in (neutral) folder.

Tested with all 3 factions and works fine :)

Thanks, the map is build for me and my friend to play, having 4 hard/brutal AI in the other spawns and us in the middle, it is pretty much game over with SWs on but this should even the playing field a bit.

lol thanks for saving us the time, i must admit they are easy scripts to make but iv been trying to make timers in ra3 in the worldbuilder i can find the script setting for the timer but i cant find a way to create timeres, anyone know how to create a timer from start to finnish please? i need it reocurring time.
