ah man. Rolk, let him do.
It's like everyone wants to jump with the slightest thing on the new guy. No wonder then that we have so few active member if we don't even give new ones the chance to adapt themselves.
I also don't have facebook btw. It never has appealed me, and I think it never will.

Shall I find youtube of it for those who are "tew kewl" for Facebook?
Or is youtube sooooooo five years ago?
I mean, I understand if you don't want a facebook or whatnot but the notion that you're cool because you participate or don't participate in something is simply ****ing childish.

Nah, I have no problems with people that have facebook. It's just nothing for me.
So yeh, put it up on youtube if you want.

Yeah, the only annoying thing about Facebook is the "you must be logged in to view this" message, which a lot of Facebook users forget about when posting links. Otherwise I think we're just messing with you (except Nodman maybe).

Those kinds of sites are for the socially challenged, why I don't use em. If I want to communicate with my friends I call them or go see em.

YouTube, has some funny stuff on there mang.
I'm obviously way too cool for Facebook for my two word post "Facebook, no." Think harder next time. The fact of the matter is I actually know how to communicate with people in the real world. So I don't need to use lame sites like MySpace or Facebook, in order to get a bazillion fake online friends I will never meet.
So again, think harder before you try to insult someone.

Nodman, you simply have no idea what you are talking about. Arrogant fool.
Sure facebook is used by some to make a bunch of online friends, but for many it's another form of communication with real friends. For me it's almost like a forum, I pop on a couple of times a day to see what's going on, if anything's happened (pics from the night before etc) and may update my status if anything's happened.
Think before post, next time.

Video is hilarious. Almost serves as an object lesson for perceived "underdogs."
Facebook has both positive and negative aspects.
When I first joined in 2005 Facebook was for college students only. When it opened up to everybody and adopted applications it became lame. I still use it though for its practical uses, despite my dislike for the general low level of intelligence, the poor design/code, and MySpace-ism.
A good thing about it is I learn things about friends that I would not have otherwise learned, and can understand the scoop on situations that perhaps only take place on Facebook. When friends in real life talk about Facebook and I didn't have one, I would only be missing out on their conversations.

Agreed, almost completely! Though I will say that they made a great decision when they toned down the applications. There came a point where it was very myspace-y, it was just full of crap.
Facebook is great for keeping in touch with your not-so close friends - people you don't see in day-to-day life, but ones you are still friendly with.
It's also good for seeing party pictures, especially the ones where someone has made a giant ass of their self :p

Facebook is the best way for me to keep in touch with everybody back in the states. So, regardless of how I may feel for it, I will continue to use it for years to come.

Now that wouldn't be true either:p. I have sooo many friends who are very social in real life, that have facebook.
I just don't use it. If it I would use it would only be b/c other people convinced me to do something I don't want to, and that would just not be me anymore.

Yep, I dont use it a lot. but it is indeed like a forum for friends you already know. look at myspace, it has a ton of stupid **** and abuse.. and all the crap with customizing pages to further annoy your friends.
i still dont use it a lot. i only have 1 picture, my display picture. some have entire albums on there. which the only people who are looking at that stuff is the people with secret crushes. lol. fap fap.

I think it's an act of misguided definace to decry facebook too much. It is not the most important social tool in the world, but it's certainly good enough to fill up some idle time here and there. As someone else stated, it's good for keeping up to date on friends who are not in your day-to-day life. I have friends from high school I rarely see, and more recently, friends from college I rarely see too. If I go on facebook, I can get a little slice of what they've been up to, and maybe drop a "hello". It's also a great place to share memories in the form of pictures. I'm really glad facebook exists, if only because I can go on and look through 5 years worth of great memories. Sure there's some stuff I have no use for (Farmville, Mafia Wars...) but there's enough good stuff to more than justify my participation.
So I don't need to use lame sites like MySpace or Facebook, in order to get a bazillion fake online friends I will never meet.
I think myspace is more guilty of this than facebook. All of my facebook friends are people I actually know in real life, with the exception of some Den members ;) And most of the Den people I have known longer than many of my real-life friends!

You do know you sound like the world's biggest douche nozzle by posting **** like this, right?
The fact that you think Facebook replaces human interaction illustrates how little you actually understand about it. You sound like an angsty "non conformist" who dislikes something merely on the grounds that it's widely used.

Ah man. No. The topic wasn't asking if you used Facebook or wanted to use it, it was to show off a video. I'll comment when people make irrelevent posts, as I see fit.
You should better your english so you can understand the original post and my response to it.

You're really an idiot. Facebook is used for those that wish to communicate with their friends, all at once. I happily use it, as do many people on this forum, some of whom I consider good friends (the ones I have from here I do consider good friends).
So quit insulting people before I seriously put my foot up your ass.
