Hi,
I've updated vBulletin to the latest available version since it's been overdue for the past couple of years. :dunce:
If there are any problems I haven't ironed out please post about them in the "Ask DGNF Staff" section and I will endeavor the fix the problem ASAP.
Cheers,
Your Neighbourhood Peniswhacker

Update made me change my password :grumpy:
Also, the update seems to have broken the colors of the posting box (at least in RADEN).

Same in modden1

Btw, does this also mean we have more protection against spambots?

Should do, trying different options out at the moment to see what works best.

:chin:When I tried to look at the forum statistics, I got this message:
Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing.
If this occurred unexpectedly, please inform the administrator and describe the action you performed before you received this error.

I only get that message with the top rankings; all other sub-categories work fine,

By forum statistics do you mean the bit at the top of the page or something else?

Seems to be working again.
Nice job, Raven :).

http://recaptcha.net/ is now installed so that should stop the majority of them I would have thought.

I'm just going to point out that my professor totally invented that (then sold it to Google for a lot of money) :p
Also, the post per day (Derek's favourite statistic) ratio (in profiles) disapeared, at least in CnCden scheme1. Not that it is about to be that missed but, anyway... it's suposed to be there.
With all this new issues, are you really sure it was an upgrade, Raven? It smells like a downside one.:p
I'm kidding. Hope you have it all fixed, the easiest way possible,... and ASAP!:D

Downside one, pft! Theres just problems because it was quite a big jump upgrade wise, just need to figure out what addons to update.

You mean like Collin, right?
Missing the whole bottom segment of the main forum view (Stuff like 'Recent Post' 'Top Posters' and 'Most Posrepped')
Also, missing Profile Options in the User CP (I looked for the custom rank area for five minutes and couldn't find it. I may just be dumb.)

I can't find it to change my profile options either. Please restore it.

This is great, now when I pop by and accidentally leave, I don't have to worry about everything I haven't read disappearing from New Posts searches, much easier, thanks much

:DThanx:hyper:
I'm sorry for bumping this but there are 2 annoying issues comprising these new upgrades (at least the ones i remember now), particularly on the public profile window, and in "CnCDEN scheme 1" (the one i use):
-the post per day number doesn't show anymore (this one is somewhat irrelevant)
-personal data is also not shown now (and this one is more grave since it usually tells something about the person and i find it of some use tbh).
If your sacred time avails, it would be very nice if you could fix that Ravenheart. Merry Christmas anyway.

I noticed that too while searching through some profiles for the DGNF Award Voting.

Quite annoying isn't it?!
Ahh, everyone's enjoying Christmas avatars. That's the spirit!:D

Dang, a lot CAN happen on Den when you're gone for about 6 months. Nice to see that things are being maintained and updated though. Way to go Ravenheart. :D

I just noticed the buttons for "Read New Posts," "Create New Thread," "Subscribe," and "RSS Feed" next to each forum. How long have those been there?

It can't have been long, I don't remember seeing them last night...

Hmm, maybe it is just the style of the Raden scheme, but that place where I can now spam post messages on Ein's profile doesn't look sophisticated
And for that obscure reason, I'm changing my scheme until it suits me
Incidentally: I like looking back at threads with Mooman in them, that is all

Eh?
There was no point, I just liked the fact that we can post messages on profiles
But it doesn't look that great on Raden 1... the scheme that I use

Well what would make it look better?
Avapodnaught
02-10-2010, 11:24 PM
Well, I have one major problem with it...
And I guess it applies to all the schemes, even if I don't happen to like the concrete color of the message box
So I have made an attachment that shows the oddity
I would also like to add that the box with the concrete color is huge
Fixing it to look more like the edit post function in relative size would be great
Despite it being adjustable, the automatic size of the message box is distracting and hard to look at
Otherwise, I say it's fine, but the way that box is just irks me
Do you agree?
