C&C4 TT is finally wrapping up the franchise's Tiberium saga. The biggest questions of the series will be answered, and we'll learn the most important thing of all -- exactly who Kane is. We'll learn what his ultimate goals and his true motives are, and find out why he seems to never die.
Not only are we going to finally get some closure to the story, but the Command & Conquer system has been changed for the better. Altering the formula after all this time is risky, but the team at EA Los Angeles feels strongly about what it's doing, and feels its fans will like what they see.

EA just want C&C to die by killing the standard formula and hoping we will all buy it for the conclusion.

played the BETA and it was horrible. IDFC about the damn storyline, that game is a massive waste of money (or it will be) and the beta was hardly any fun at all, after all was said and done (I had a few really epic battles, but overall that game isn't much fun).

EA has made some massive blunders about the CNC series, but CNC4 really takes the cake as far as bomb games go. People will buy it for the closure of the storyling, sure, but multiplayer will probably be dead within a few months at longest.

God, I can't stand EA anymore, it's like they came here with the mission of destroying the CNC series... RA3 was good, yes, but they gave little to no support for CNC3 and OUTSOURCED the expansion pack. ZH didn't get enough support, and CNC4 is looking to be a massive fail from the very start (hell, before it has even started)...

thats if it takes off at all... which is looking less and less likely... only reason they havent scrapped this game is because they know they can still sell it for its SP content....

The beta for Red Alert 3 made it seem like an excellent game, but I didn't have a powerful enough computer at the time. Now I've got a laptop that can play it, but after seeing how quickly EA let the RA2 and C&C3 ladders decay into nothing, I don't think it's worth it to pay them for a game I likely won't get to play online much.

It became too Dawn of War-ish.

Dawn of War-ish? this is nothing like Dawn of War! did you ever have a giant walking (or flying) base that could build units on the go, and then just plop down and release all those units?

-Did DoW ever feature unit building with NO economic restrictions at all?

-DoW had a pop cap, but all factions had a way of increasing that pop cap to a certain extent.

-Capturing nodes/SPs was for resources, not for points towards winning the game (well in some cases you could win by capping enough of the SPs)

Anyways I could go on for hours, but you get my point? Not dawn of war-ish AT ALL, and DoW is a much better game than CNC4, by far and away.

Hes talking about DoW2. CNC4 is pretty obviously copying what DoW2 did.

This C&C4 is too similar to DOW2 which is again another epic fail. DOW I was really a good RTS as was C&C until this crappy C&C4. I can't believe C&C is over with such a bad ending.
