Introduction



Coporal Hendriks, a well-known veteran, has been in the service for over 20 years. Now 54, the 6 foot-man who has graying hair, faces a tough crisis: World War III. The year is 2017, and the globe is at war. Russia has recovered some 'unique' weapons. North Korea has threatened to invade South Korea again, and as the UN deals with such Russia is determined to bring back the Warsaw Pact. -----not done, needs to be completed

it's good, but here's a setup i have for one of my many game ideas that will never come of anything [still, you can't steal! :p]:

The year is 2006. A coup d’etat took place in Russia only one year earlier, where an armed group of ex-Spetsnaz commandos, led by Colonel Gagarin, took over the democratic government. They were loyal to the Communist Mother Russia they grew up in, and did not like this American government at all. To them it was drastically weakening Russia into a third world country, and a large one at that. Their idea was to pull Russia out of that depression and kick America in the ass. However, Russia, being in the weakened state that it was, could not do it by herself. She joined forces with China, North Korea, Vietnam, and Cuba...and together vowed that they would claim revenge on America, once and for all.

As the crisis is viewed, CIA Intelligence suggests a possibility of Germany being brought back into the Pact. Japan is making technological weapons for North Korea and part of Russia. China is now on the verge of becoming a Neo-Axis power.
The Neo-Axis: Russia, North Korea, Japan
The Allies: US, UK (Great Britian, whatever), Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, South Korea
Undetermined: China, Italy
-Then battle breaks out in South Korea, as the North Koreans fight along the 38th parellel. This also is a cue for Russia, as Soviet-made tanks roll their way, bringing back the old USSR. While the UN is dispatching troops for action against Russia, the USA is offered to take down North Korea.

Corporal Hendriks is called to duty.

All was peaceful onlooking the USS Glory from the outside, but on the inside many were scrambling to others. Only two were remaining calm: Corporal Hendriks and General Bailey.
Corporal Hendriks walked down a thin hallway. Lights were flashing, but he was not paying attention to them. He was going over his notes of the North Koreans, as many stumbled around. He took a left into a room that read 'Janitors Only'. He opened the door and closed it. Inside the room was a planning room, with General Bailey and half a dozen of men working on communications.
"General," Corporal Hendriks said.
General Bailey looked up from a map of South Korea he was studying. "Hello, Corporal," Bailey replied.
"What is the situation, sir?"
"Well, same old crap, North Korea once again invading South Korea."
"And what exactly did you call me here for, sir?"
General Bailey looked down at the map again. "I want to land on Inchon, just as General MacArthur did in 1950. Take them by suprise, unless they are expecting such."
"And then what, sir?"
"I want your men to battle against North Korea in Inchon. They have seized the town and some Corps are moving into position. Your men will arrive after the main attack has started-"
"General, my regiment only has 36 men now, and chances of us winning that battle with my men are-"
"Corporal, your men are badasses, correct?"
Corporal Hendiks, thought, then said, "Well, yes..."
"Then your are going to be inserted there. Not by sea, but by air. Chinooks, anyway," replied Bailey.
"Very well sir, I shall prepare my men for battle."
"Good, you are dismissed."
Corporal Hendriks walked out of the room. He finally was getting some action.
