Crack of dawn
Day’s first light.
Welcome to my nightmare. (my nightmare)
Here’s my abode, my Hell.
My reality (my nightmare)

Torn to shreds, ripped apart.
Stripped of identity, of self.
I’m stripped of me.
Myself, my soul.

A prize, to be won
In a tug of war.
Fighting for control,
For power.
Foreign powers, pressing themselves
On me, trying
To attach their strings
On me, like a puppet,
Such is conformity.

Night’s invasion, my liberator,
Chasing the light
Soon it will end (my nightmare)
My slumber, my Heaven,
My fantasy.

Slumber, yet pure life.
I’m free, I’m me.
Restored of self,
Myself, my soul.

In control,
My peace, pure bliss.
Unbreakable, it is,
Yet fragile.
Torn apart,
By dawn’s first light,
I awake,
Back in bondage,
In reality (my nightmare)

I like this one Landry...kinda resembles some of my friends' ideology. :color3:

It's not an ideology you'd want to have.

That was nice, it is good to get out your feelings... and when you can do them in such a creative mannar it is all the better. :)

That's exactly how I feel sometimes :\. I'm not sure what else to say but it was a very emotional poem for me :(. Thanks for sharing. 5/5 stars and 1 super golden spikey thingy.

Sycknyss, thanks, I write what I feel.
I meant that they thought reality is a nightmare...their brainwaves must had been similar when you were writing that.
