I created this thread so we could all come up with subjects to write a story on. So many ideas are repeatedly used, that I think it's hard for some of us to come up with a good original story. Not to say that multiple stories with close to the same subject aren't good in their individual right, but, maybe here we can come up with new ideas.
And you don't have to limit yourself to C&C games. You could use a movie for your base, or create something that's entirely your thing. So, any ideas?

I was thinking today in study hall, and I thought ofthis great story which I'll probably never write:
Just think if one person was singled out to be part of an experiment. Things that they will be taught about (death, God, morality, etc.) are all not in existence, but the government creates them as ficticious things to see how people are affected by them. So one person is put in his or her own little world and taught about all these different things that don't exist in the real world, and has hundreds of people that are participating in the experiment that essentially act and play upon these fake things (yes, it sounds a bit like The Truman Show, but it deeper and deals with a different theme).
Now, after a certain number of years (which coincides with the ae of a person's death) they are taken out of the experiment and told the truths of the world, and their actions are analyzed for future generations. But wouldn't you be pissed if you had never really lived a normal life but were told lies and were decieved your entire life up until that point? My story would revolve around a characer who finds out prematurley about this experiment and gets pissed, with fun to follow.
Of course, like I said, I'll probably neer write it, so who knows?

Hmm, maybe one with an Allied Destroyer trying to evade the clutches of a Soviet Giant Squid? (I always wanted to do something like that!)

The main character, Westleigh is currently in the unfinished 'Loose (Fri)ends...

Maybe it could work if it was part of a bigger storyline. But what story hasn't been done about RA(2)? But you'd have to be one helluva writer like Wesforce or Lefire or Bean to write a good story about just that.

I'm doing a sequel to 'Pushed too far.', it's called:
"Till death do us part."
Which, I suspect, kind of sets you up for what's coming, yes yes?
Might try a Halo fan-fic from a non-Master Chief point of view. A marine maybe? Sargeant Avery Johnson? Heh, why not an elite or grunt? Tres Bien!
Here's an interesting idea: Why not try to write a story from the point of view of a character from 'The Sims'? You know, with the odd shenanigans that can happen in that game and the god-like powers of the player. :D
A submarine may make an interesting setting for a short story, the confined spaces, the hostile deep, it would make a great psychological thriller (AKA mind**** adventure).
maybe more stories in which the hero dies!
I LOVE those stories so.... realistic!
Or, for you that are looking for an Idea heres one.
A man is walking down the road one day, on his way home, with a son/daughter at his side when a gang fight extends toward him, his son/daughter is killed, and he is badly injured, he survives, and takes revenge in the form of (get this) a GANGSTER!
You could incorporate your own plot twists and such as well.

I too like the story where the hero dies. Or at least where you just don't know if all the main characters are going to make it.
I think I'm up to finishing the Trap now, so keep your eyes open, and expect the unexpected :p
Some story in wich the EVIL GUY wins. And it's a total victory.

Wes, that "Red Angel" idea is pure class. Mind if I have a stab along a similar theme?
