New in the ever popular line of Competitions!

ART COMPETITION!!!!!!

What this means is that you *do* some *art* (Be it pixel, drawage, sculptage or fraggage) and post it in the entries thread.

Guidelines: I'm fairly Liberal (Ooh, that word :p) but I'd like to make a few guidelines (PM/IM me if you really have a problem with these).

All entries must be based on the subject matter of: Any C&C game (sadly including Generals :cry: ), or the WoC (with VOs Permission), SSR or Shadow Universes.

Winner to be decided by poll, will have a word with M00 regarding trophies.

I know the Den has some excellent, talented artists here - I trust you won't let us down. For Lion, for the flag, for Queen and Country! (and tea and biccies)

Could we please open the competition up a bit please, to possibly including any artwork inspired by or linked to the DGNF in any way (as long as it's fairly obvious). This gives people who haven't read the rpg and don't want to draw tanks a chance. (And lets me use a really awesome idea I had :p)

edit: hmm... I'm thinking I may do one (or perhaps several) WoC characters. I made a preliminary sketch of Jarvis (aies would be interested to know) that looks pretty good :)

In reply to this and VOs comment, I think the comp is still pretty open: Magic swords and mages and the like could be covered by Shadow. Its definitely not just a case of 'Drawing tanks'.

hehe, yeah- I tried to make the shadows more deep than I usually do, but it kind of lost the contrast once I shaded the whole thing in. anywh00t, I too picture him as very van helsing-esque, but I tried to distance him a little from that image :p

yeah i was considering having the apple, id be lying if i said that painting didnt influence me just a little (and, with the mirrors program, it'd be like the thomas crown affair) but in the end i decided that the faceless icon fitted much better with Rockwells personality.

After wich he gets defeated, but returns in CyB-orc 2: Judgement Day, this time as one of the good guys, due to being reprogrammed, to stop the end of the world.

Then in 10 years later another sequal: Cyb-Orc 3 (not as good as part 2), after wich he retires to persue a career in politics wich is ultimatly useless since he can never become the evil overlord of Mordor since he wasn't born there.
