(This is where you post character character profiles for the SSR rpg.
First off, please ask all questions reguarding characters VIA PM. If you have a question or comment about a certain character, contact either me, or the player involved. Anything I see as unfit for this thread will be deleted without warning. Also, if you want to edit your profile, please repost it with changes in bold or a different colour.
Any questions about the RPG in general may be asked in the SSR General information thread.
All characters except Tracer Bullet and Silver Knight are transferable to this RPG. Owners of said characters may create new characters if they wish.
Race wise, pretty much anything goes except Angel's. Demons and demi-gods are allowed, as long as they don't scream religious zealot to me.
And most importantly... READ EVERYTHING IN THE SSR: GENERAL INFORMATION THREAD BEFORE YOU POST HERE.)
Real Name: Your character’s real name. This should be the name they use when not fighting crime, aliens and communists – something like ‘meek and mild-mannered’ Calvin, or, John Smith, or Bob Dole. Other characters will only know this if you want them too.
Superhero Secret Identity: The alias your hero takes while fighting crime. This should ideally reflect his/her super secret atomic mega powers, but anything reasonably fitting should do.
Race: This can be as general as Human, Alien, Android, Demi-god from another dimension, etc. Or a specific race name.
Appearance: How your hero looks while fighting crime (spandex, please!), and when not (nerdy glasses are required for at least 50% of characters). Please be detailed enough here that your character is actually recognisable from any other hero in the game, as well as other existing super heros (eg, we won’t accept anyone who is visibly wolverine in all but name, although someone with extendable claws and a bizarre haircut would be accepted.) Age would also be helpful.
Personality: A short description of your character’s personality.
Super-Secret Origin Story: How did your character gain their awesome powers or abilities? Bitten by a radioactive butterfly? Built his atomic battle suit in his basement instead of attending highschool? Gifted to him by aliens? Anything’s possible, so make up something good – other characters will only know this if you want them to, though.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities: Your character may have up to five different powers/abilities (although exceptions may be granted if necessary). The more you take, however, the more severe your disadvantages will be. Powers / Abilities are anything out of the ordinary for your character – including gear like a mechanised battle suit. Examples include super strength, x-ray vision, and a wrist-mounted rocket launcher.
Disadvantages: “With great power, comes great disadvantage” : if you have more than three super powers/abilities, you must take a minimum of one disadvantage, with this number increasing by one each extra power you take (for example, a character with five powers/abilities must have at least two advantages, although he may have more). Disadvantages could include “allergic to sunlight”, “socially unaccepted”, or “low toughness”.
Gear: Anything that does not come “as standard” with your character – including battle suits, psychic projector staffs, and the wrist mounted rocket launcher mentioned earlier. There is no limit to gear, although some of it should be included as abilities if it significantly changes the effectiveness of your hero.
Loved Ones: Your characters girlfriend? Wife? Child? Butler? Cat? Anybody that your character cares about goes here. (optional)
Quote: Maybe add a sample quote from your character? (optional)

Real Name: Murat Aziz
Superhero Secret Identity: Charge
Race: Mix of a (heavily mutated) human and an extradimentional energy being.
Appearance: Murat is a Moroccan, but his skin is almost black due to his mutation. As Charge, he wears a black suit with metal strips running through it in a tiger pattern and black sunglasses. The suit is made to conduct electric energy and sunlight (converted to heat by the black cloth) to his skin as fast as possible.
[Click here for picture] (http://www.planetcnc.com/cnc2sw/stuff/Charge.jpg)
Personality: Charge has a dual personality; one side is the original Murat, the other the energy being that lives in his body. While Murat is generally a very calm man, the 'Charge' side of his personality is quick to judge people and see them a a threat to his existence. Charge would kill any criminal threatening other persons with physical harm.
Super-Secret Origin Story:
The being known as 'Charge' is the result of the merging of a man called Murat Aziz with a being of energy from a parallel universe.
In that parallel universe, matter doesn't exist, but the pure energy of the universe has stabilized itself in crystal-like forms that developed to the point of conscious life. For these beings, who travel at the speed of light, the distance of traversing our solar system would be like a 30-minute walk to the supermarket.
At the university of Lutonopolis, a poor undereducated foreign worker from Morocco called Murat Aziz was helping a professor set up an experiment to investigate some of the unknown effects of electromagnetic fields focussed on a single point.
The experiment somehow opened a dimensional gateway, sucking one of these energy beings into our universe, where all its energy started chaotically converting to all kinds of energy.
Murat, standing very close to the experiment, was the process of being burnt to a crisp, and the energy being was dying because it couldn't focus itself.
The being, quickly gaining understanding of the concept of matter and carbon life, realized that the released energy would soon cause a fusion reaction, not only destroying the being, but also the entire city of material life around it.
In a last attempt to save itself and the material being that was in the process of being destroyed by a sheer overdose of energy, the being mutated the body of Murat to be able to absorb and store all of its energy, altering his DNA to quickly grow biological batteries inside his body, grow pigment adapted to absorb all light, heat, electricity, magnetism and radiation and quickly convert it to electric energy. For the purpose of transferring that electric power, an entire enhanced duplicate of the neural network was formed in Murat's body. The new pigment changed Murat's skin color from light brown to pitch black.
Once the being regained control of itself and its host body, it found its consciousness to be merged with its host, thus creating a new lifeform referring to itself as "Charge".
Charge still has a somewhat dual consciousness though, referring to the two original sides as 'Murat' and 'Charge'.
Not being used to the concept of walking, the Charge part of the consciousness quickly made some more adaptations to Murat's body, making it capable of generating a force field that nullifies the earth's gravity, thus allowing himself to fly.
No one ever fully realized what happened though. in the end, the only noticable effect besides the total destruction of the experiment itself was Murat's darkened skin.
Murat/Charge kept working in the university, taking evening courses to get a diploma. His enhanced brain and Charge's absolute understanding of matter itself made the courses easy to pass, and he quickly enrolled in the university itself.
Some time after that, roughly two years after the change, Murat was shot during a bank robbery. Suddenly losing control, Charge was unable to contain his energy, and accidently released so much electricity everyone in the room was killed.
After that incident, which the police just referred to as a 'freak accident', Charge decided the city wasn't safe for people like him. However, he didn't intend to move away... instead, he was determined to completely wipe out crime in the entire city.
Super Powers / Extraordinary Abilities:
-Can convert any kind of energy (besides kinetic energy) to electric energy, making him invulnerable to nearly all energy weapons/abilities
-Can reconvert his internal energy into any form of energy he can absorb
-Can fly
-due to his natural affinity with energy he can feel flows of energy around him, like electric power in cables in walls, or sources of radioactivity.
Disadvantages:
-Physically weak
-When hurt or distracted his absorbing/storing system can fail, resulting in random releases of electric energy
-Can get exhausted after using too much power. City-wide blackouts have been reported in such cases
Gear:
- Black absorbtion suit (see Appearance)
- a belt with a solid iron cilinder (15xd3 cm) in it, which he can use to enhance his magnetic powers.
Ch2 update: He now also carries a simple sharp knife, for emergencies.
Quote: "Every single thought going through your mind right now... is a total waste of energy."
Loved ones: His wife, Samira who is still at home in Morocco. Although he keeps in touch with her by writing letters and sending her money, she doesn't know anything about the mutation Murat has gone through. He hopes to either return to her or get her to Neo-England as soon as he graduates.

Real Name: None.
Superhero Secret Identity: Maverick
Race: Android
Appearance: Maverick, being an android, doesn't have much in the way of detail. He is basically an imitation of a Human, slightly taller then most. He is covered in metallic silver panels, without only two green lights for eyes and plenty of hidden buttons. He usually walks around in a rather long coat and a wide rimmed hat.
However, in his "Exo-suit" appearance, it's a very different matter. Maverick becomes tall and very bulky. His "skin" becomes jet black, with glowing blue patterns (see below, only think blue without the head) covering his body. His head and hands are also in this blue. His head takes on a rather twisted version of a mouth and his own, cool, green eyes. In this form, Maverick is bulky, far too large to fight though conventional doors, it's also worth noting he can hold an adult human in one hand with ease.
Personality: Maverick isn't your typical Android. He has no qualms with the oddities of Human life, he even shares a few of them himself, and emotions are no problem. He feels them, but has no real way of expressing them. Of course, not having to function like a human does provide a slight barrier. He'd never go out for a meal, or drink, simply because he can't partake in either.
Maverick has a rather laid back attitude, not really strict or rigid. Although, he will do most things with no argument, simply as they need doing. Which has led to certain people taking advantage, but he doesn't seem to mind too much. In fact, it's extremely hard to really anger or annoy Maverick, you'd be better off not trying either.
Maverick also loves to play cards, and has his very own playing pack from the future. Not that they'd be recognisable to anybody from this time-line, but he has luckily picked up the rules for more conventional, 1960's games.
Super-Secret Origin Story: Very little is really known about how Maverick was made, or why he was actually sent to 1960's Lutonoplis, but Wescorp scientists are working tirelessly to find out. All that is known is that a highly advanced sybernetic being was found sprawled across the grass in Lutonoplis Municipal Park. No identification, no registration, just a pack of playing cards.
From there, he was taken to a secret, Wescorp research lab. Here it was uncovered that the being came from the future, although he wasn't sure how, nor was he sure why. When questioned, it was confirmed he knew very little of the future world. The most likely occurance is that he was sent directly off the production line.
From then on, he was held for days. Until the Government gave Wescorp a grant to start an organisation to deal with Super Humans, and decided to put this android to good use. Named Marverick, after a paticular card game he seemed to like, the being's inbuilt exo-suit turned out to be the perfect choice to give the team some brute strength.
However, Mavericks loyalty did come at a price. He made Wescorp promise never to use his advanced technology for commercial purposes.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Super Strength: In his exo-suit form, Marverick is strong enough to tear down buildings like they are made of paper.
Immune to mind controling/altering effects
Immune to EMP and high powered magents: Coming from the future, these weaknesses seem to have been protected against in Marvericks time.
Disadvantages:
Marverick's speed suffers dramatically in his exo-suit form.
His apperance makes it near impossible to pass for a human.
An irrational reaction to all things lead.
Gear:
A few intersting nick-naks like an inbuilt radio transmitter, but nothing that could drastically tip the tide of a battle.
Loved Ones: Nobody too close, although, he does like to feel he shares a certain bond with his original team mates Charge and Equaliser.
Quote: "Having a custom built Poker face is NOT cheating. It is merely an unfair advantage."
Real Name:Ray Smith
Super Hero Secret Identity: Crimson
Appearance: An average height, in his early twenties, of athletic constitution, very athletic constitution that denotes his mastery of martial arts. He's handsome, not only by his body, but by his blue BIG eyes, and his deep voice. He rarely wears clothes other than sport ones, and likes to have his face shaved, and his brown hair neatly tied in a ponytail. He's somewhat of a chick magnet.
As when fighting crime, he wears usually a black spandex stealthy ninja suit, filled with his gadgets. The attire has both panths and shirt, wich end in black tipless gauntless, and a hood who covers his mouth and head. His eyes remain hidden by a red mask, neatly put behind the hood, that gives him a sinister glare. He also wears a red bandana tied up in his head.
PersonalityHe's perseverant. Really perseverant. Feeded by courage to unknown limits, Crimsom is a foe who doesn't quit easily in whatever he's doing. He rarely lets his feelings out, except in the case of anger, wich fuels him even more. Combat-focused feelings aside, Ray is a very shy person. He would like to have friends, and loved people, but he doesn't even try to get hurt. He rarely speaks about his private life.
Super Secret Origin Story:
Born from an odd combination of an English merchant and a Japanese woman, Ray's life had been marked by hardships. Being born in the post-war Japan , he had to live a tough life, ever so his father had to flee, and his mother assasinated by the Yakuza. where its perseverance shone. His life was hard, until he bumped out on the elusive Yoshiniki ninjas, the scarce but exceptional warriors, whose skills were legendary. The ninjas submitted him to a training so hard it was a question of life to pass it: you either completed it, or died. However, Crimson's perseverance fueled him to the extreme he completed the 10 year training without failing. By now, he was 20, and he was beginning to understand why the ninjas were elusive, and why the training was cruelly selective. He had strength and skill beyond comprehension, as he even could deflect bullets with an sword!
The newly adquired strength served Crimson to avenge his mother dismantling the Yakuza network responsible of her assasination. In less than one year.
With his revenge accomplished, Ray fleed from Japan as soon as he had notice of his father dying. He settled in his father's city Lutonopolis, and opened a Japanese food restaurant called Sushi Express, in wich he has several employees by now.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities
Combat Mastery:He is extremely skilled with the fists, the blade weapons and the throwable weapons (shurikens, daggers).
Out-of-Limit Fitness: His fitness wich allows him to perform stunts, is beyond the classical human limits. His strength is equal to a master martial artist, and his agility and speed are his most. He can perform unrealistic, videogame like jumps.
Stealth: He's a ninja. Ninjas are masters of stealth, they know how to stay away from the sight, and they can walk silently. Ninjas can also disguise, too.
Heavy Duty Katana: Forged specially for out-of-conventional fights, this katana can break through durable metals.
Power Break:The ultimate defence piercer. Crimsom basically concentrates for a while, and after that, executes an extremely powerful blow with his fist, a blade weapon, or a throwable one. It breaks anything, regardless of durability. The drawback is that it can only do it once per day. More than that could result in a heart-collapse and therefore death.
Disadvantages:
Obsessive with villains- He rarely cares about civilian loses. If a civilian is in the middle of him and a villain, he will not care.
Berseker Rage- When Crimson is boiling up in rage, he starts mindlessly attacking everything near, usually with fatal consequences for him and nearby people.
Gear:
Red Mask
Shuriken (many)
Heavy Duty Katana.
Smoke bombs, lockpick, and mini scalpel for scapism tricks.
Civilian
Scapism toolkit
Shuriken (several)
Loved ones: Obviously, the employees of his restaurant. Especially one, Kori Izakuchi, a 15 year hot headed girl with innate clumsiness that followed Crimson to learn herself to be a proper ninja. She has the vice of calling everything cute despite its appearance.
Quote:"Aren't you afraid of the things that bump from dark alleys? Well you should. Because I could be ONE of them."

Real Name: Tanya Crimson Blades
(Formerly Commissar Tanya Wescorp)
Superhero Secret Identity: The Sonic Equalizer
Race: Human
Appearance: A petite, fair-skinned woman in tight silver leotard with a yellow/black stripy belt, and holsters strapped around her legs (like Lara Croft :p ). Purple furry boot covers on her legs. On her shoulders: Yellow-black stripy studded shoulderpads which deploy her sonic displacer screen.
Her face is concealed by a mirrored riot-squad type visor, and her hair sprouts in huge bunches gradually shifting in colour from neon red to green to blue and back.
Stage clothes as singer for Crimson Blades:
Big hair, 80's style, high heeled platform boots, ripped fishnets, tartan miniskirt, PVC corset top, lotsa knives
Personality: Tanya isn't from this reality - In fact she only dimly remembers the one she's from. She doesn't remember what an evil bitch she was, just that there were 'evildoers' (civilians to you and me) who needed to be punished (killed) for breaking the law (existing). All that remains is her inherent desire for justice, and to get back home - Taking Kered the damned into custody, dead or alive,
Tanya is dedicated to her job, but not without her sense of humour. She'll do her job and even take time to minimalise collateral damage to the city - Helping people and being nice feels alien and exotic to her, for reasons she doesn't understand. When not in character, she works as a Wescorp Media exec, owing to her love and knowledge of all things musical.
Additional: When The Thing awoke from it's slumber, Equalizer found herself in a downward spiral of depression and self-loathing, only ended when she found solace in a relationship with Guitarist Joe Johannesburg, a somewhat simple yet well-meaning man.
Super-Secret Origin Story: From an alternate Earth where all weapons were banned at the end of WW3, The Sonic Equalizer was one of the privildged few chosen to keep society entertained and safe - Using sound-based 'Helping tools' (lethal weapons) to entertain the citizens one day, and keep them repressed under the rigid fascisto-communist style Neo-Earth society the next using their unique Sonic Blastmaser3000 weapons.
Chasing the wanted Criminal Kered the Damned across 'The Silence' - The legendary 50-mile wide crater from the 'final warhead' that ended the war within which no sound can be heard, Kered had led Sonic Equalizer - Then just plain Sonic Enforcer Tanya23 - Into his secret lair - His lair built over the powernexus using which he had channelled all the radiation into one maniacal scheme or another. Kered the Damned and Tanya fought - Until one of them triggered the powernexus' self destruct. Instead of atomizing them both instantly, both Heroine and Villain were thrown into 1960's Lutonopolis - The corresponding point in space in this timeline.
Dazed, Tanya got herself a job at Wescorp where her knowledge of Sonic weapons proved useful. She fitted into the repressive corporate structure easily, didn't mind about Wescorp's questionable ethics, and found the materials she needed to continue her instinctual fight against crime, and so...
Additional: When The Thing rose, subsequent events led to her being fired from Wescorp. At this time she also left the SSR on a short hiatus, and found herself singing in a band she formed with her lover, Joe Johannesburg, "Crimson Blades". The band soon became hot property, and was the centre of a bidding war between Wescorp Media and other music publishers. She divides her time between the band and her SSR duties, keeping her friends and Joe in the dark about the different facets of her life.
Super Powers / Extraordinary Abilities:
1) Sonic Blastmaster3000 - Looks like an neon electric guitar which translates heavy riffage into sonic bolts that blast from twin heavy barrels mounted under the arm. The faster Tanya plays the guitare with her Chrome Plectrum of Comradeship, the faster the bolts are fired. The harder she plays, the more forceful they are. A quick pluck can lay a man unconsious - Power Chrords can make his arse explode or his brains boils out of his ears, also different notes can have different effects.
Tanya's original Blastmaster was destroyed by The Thing. She now wields a custom-built weapon designed on similar lines, based on a black and silver striped (similar to Charge's colouring) J.D Zickenbacker guitar from J.J's Guitars and Amps. However this weapon is considerably less effective than the original.
2) Sonic Displacer screen - Can 'throw' sounds from her playback equipment up to 50 metres. Her voice, another voice, etc.
3) Sonic Displacer screen 2 - When set into overdrive, the force of the screen - heard as a loud buzzing-feedback type noise - Can literally blast people from this plane of existence and back again, reappearing up to 100 metres away. Alternatively can be use to protect herself from projectiles.
Note: The Displacer screem two was lost, and again Equalizer has devised a less-effective replacement made from contemporary musical equipment. In this case, the range of the displacer screen is halved.
Disadvantages: Low toughness - She's only small, and not well-built. She relies on her sonic displacer screen to protect against physical attacks, concussion etc.
Weakness to bad sounds - There is one 'bad sound' out there that will leave her completely helpless. Fortunately, no-one knows what it is.
Joe: She has a severe soft spot for Joe, and would find herself at a loss if anything happened to him.
Gear: See Sonic Blastmaster3000 and Sonic Displacer screen as above. Plus utility belt containing more Power Plectrums, Strings, Recording equipment etc.
Quote: 'Sound off, wiseass. Let me Equalize you - DOWN TO THE GROUND!'

(Well, WOC seems to be quiet at the moment, mayhaps I'll give SSR a try if AI is cool with that, don't worry i won't post in the 'prologue' section as per your instructions. :D)
Real Name: Irvine Oppenhiemer.
Superhero Secret Identity: Loki
Race: Human.
Appearance: Casual: Irvine wears the typical attire of a scientist of the times. A business shirt, with obligatory awful tie, long pants, sensible shoes, white lab coat, and nerdy glasses (you know you love it). Irvine is of middling weight and height, not particulary strong, fast or handsome. He seems to be a rather clean cut, almost boring man.
Crimefighting: A spandex suit, coloured with clashing colours haphazardly splashed across it, a Polymorphic Mask (doesn't reveal his face but reflects his mood in colours. ie. a red mask means he's angry), a long black cape, and white gloves.
Personality: Irvine is your typical mild-mannered scientist (think Bruce Banner og The Hulk fame), he gets excited over trivial sciency stuff that bores other people and reads classical literature for a hobby. Even his wife and child think he is rather bland and unexciting. Loki, however, is the antithesis of Irvine's sentiments. A troublemaker and prankster, Loki delights in trickery and subterfuge. Loki is also short-tempered, easily distracted, spontaneous, and talks quickly. (Age: 35)
Super-Secret Origin Story: Working for Wescorp, Irvine was a head developer for an experimental project that dealt with deliberate stimulation of neural pathways in order to artificially generate knowledge and even memories in the subject. Due to a lack of decisive results, the project was scrapped but Irvine, for reasons he doesn't understand even today, chose to be the first human guinea pig and didn't tell anyone about this. Of course, the experiment instilled within Irvine artificial knowledge and memories but the inherent instability of a human mind with two sets of knowledge and memories meant that in order to preserve his overall insanity, Irvine's mind created a new personality that would soak up those extraneous memories and knowledge. This new personality was Loki. Both Loki and Irvine are entirely unaware that the other exists. Loki chooses to patrol the streets at night while Irvine spends the daylight hours researching a new project assigned to him by Wescorp and living with his family.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities: 1: Hyper-Agility. Loki is rather active, able to leap higher and further than the average man, ran faster, has faster reflexes and is a bit stronger than the average man.
2: Improbable Improvisation: Loki, with a little sub-conscious influence from Irvine, can take any seemingly innocent device and do great things with it. A toaster can become a minor incendiary device, a car can be modified into a walking mechanical rooster, and so forth. However, these creations serve mainly as devices for entertaining Loki rather than stopping crime, which is more of a welcome side-effect.
Disadvantages: Crazy 8's: Loki only stops crime as a form of entertainment, when other opportunities arise, he may become bored and go somewhere else. That, or turn on his fellow super-heroes and play pranks on them instead!
Double life: As Irvine rules during the daylight hours, Loki really only operates during the night (or at least whenever Irvine isn't in the company of other people).
Gear: The stick of 'mighty hurting', a simple pole with a skull mounted on top of it (the skull's name is Yorick, Loki talks to it.)
Loved Ones: Wife(Helena, 30 years old, a reasonably attractive French woman who sticks by Irvine but finds him a bore. She is dissatisfied with her role as a housewife and craves excitement.) and daughter (Geneveve [changed from Genevieve for fear of massive spelling disasters], pre-teens ie. 10 years old, loves Irvine with a passion but, also, recognises how boring daddy is)
Quote: "Hehehehehehehehe! Alas, poor Yorick, you've got custard on your face! Hehehehehehehe!"
(note: after writing this char up he came across to me as a bit of Green-Goblin, The Hulk, The Joker, and a few other stereotypes rolled into one. If this is a problem, I'll either modify Irvine or start from scratch.)

GOGO BARELY EDITED PROFILE! (may be edited at a later date, but I'll bump the thread up so everyone knows)
Real Name : Riona Chasey
Superhero Secret Identity : Diva Ex Machina (Machina or Diva to her friends)
Appearance : Riona is an woman of unknown ages tanding approximately 5”8” tall - she has auburn hair that descends halfway down her back, green eyes, and a pointed nose, and appearing to be in her early twenties – overall, she’s definately one of the more attractive specimens of humanity (although this could just be because, with her powers, she can look like what she wants to). Rinoa dresses in appropriately normal human clothes, and is indistinguishable from an average human when she is not using her super powers.
Personality : Riona is, by all respects, a manipulative and callous bitch. She doesn't care about the noble ideals of the SSR, nor the continual fight against communism - just that her personal needs are fulfilled, and she stays as closely nestled in the lap of luxury as possible. Riona has a vengeful temper and a frightening intelligence - which may lead to problems down the line. However, Riona shows the potential to change over time - she's been isolated from "normality" for a long while and yearns to return to it from the comforts of her perfect life. Her colleagues (when she was employed, of course) often regarded Riona as something of a joke, mainly because she was a young woman in a field dominated by older men. Although she enjoys the use of her powers, sometimes she does wish to return to what was normal life before her accident – sometimes people notice that she always looks exactly the same, and grow suspicious – it is hard for her to use here powers to make small changes like the gradual signs of ageing, forcing her to be somewhat detatched about her contacts with the rest of humanity. In addition. Riona does not swear normally, apart from using "Bloody", and "Bloody Hell".
Note : Riona is adept at keeping the less desirous qualities of her personality under wraps. Other characters will only learn how bad she can be by EXPERIANCE - she's highly attractive, making what is evident less noticeable :p YOUR READING OF THIS PROFILE DOES NOT MAKE YOUR CHARACTER, ESPECIALLY IF HE IS A YOUNG, EASILY MANIPULATED MALE, AWARE OF DIVA'S REAL AGENDA, NOR WILL ANY ACTIONS SHE MAY TAKE OR THOUGHTS SHE MAY THINK DURING THE RPG BE INSTANTLY KNOWN BY YOUR CHARACTER EVEN IF IT TURNS OUT THAT SHE DOESN'T LIKE THEM AT ALL. GOT IT?
Super-Secret Origin : Riona was one of the aspiring young scientists inducted into the USNE government’s secret nanotechnology project, determined to create new weapons powered by these machines in the eternal battle against the soviets. Working long hours and in great secrecy, it is little wonder that slip-ups were made – and one of them proved almost fatal. Riona accidentally inhaled a quantity of prototype nanomachines. These bizarrely replaced some of the blood in her bloodstream, and interfaced with her brain, providing her with the power to control them at will – although she was not to find this out until much later, nor even the fact that she had taken in the machines in the first place. A year later, this fledgling project was shut down, and it’s employees dismissed, many taking up jobs with various corporations in their own attempts to manipulate science to their advantage. Riona, however, upon discovering her power, found out that she didn’t need to do this, and quit her job with Wescorp – she could literally create money from thin air! After squandering her newfound talents for several years, living under her new name of Riona Chasey (she hasn’t revealed what it was before) in trendy Lutonopolis, she would eventually be discovered…
Super Powers :
Morph – Due to the nanomachines inhabiting her body, Riona can morph into various different forms, with the tiny robots constructing new shapes and mechanisms. In this way, Riona can create a weapon from thin air, or change shape to look like someone else. Riona is currently limited to morphing into human-shaped beings, as she hasn't learnt to seriously modify her internal structure yet. Diva has a few stock 'morphs' she can use at will, but normally she has to get a good look at what she's morphing into to use them. Normally, morphing will only take in the external characteristics of the subject, and will NEVER dupilicate super powers, except in very exceptional circumstances.
Modify - by using a small sample of her blood, Diva can, over time, subtly alter the world around her. Examples of what she is currently capable of include pricking her finger to release nanomachines over a dress to rebuild it in a different colour overnight, or giving a few to a plant to encourage it's growth.
Weaknesses :
Time : It takes time for Diva Ex Machina to repair her body and change form – so keep riddling her full of bullets and she’s likely to stay down.
EMP : If affected by a weapon producing electromagnetic pulse, nearly all of Diva Ex Machina’s powers will shut down, causing her to be stuck in any form she is currently in. However, a few will survive, and eventually recreate the others, meaning that she is not permanently disabled by these effects.
Fragile - Diva Ex Machina is quite fragile, compared to the other muscle-bound heros on the team.
Gear :
None (she can make what she needs)

YOUR READING OF THIS PROFILE DOES NOT MAKE YOUR CHARACTER, ESPECIALLY IF HE IS A YOUNG, EASILY MANIPULATED MALE, AWARE OF DIVA'S REAL AGENDA, NOR WILL ANY ACTIONS SHE MAY TAKE OR THOUGHTS SHE MAY THINK DURING THE RPG BE INSTANTLY KNOWN BY YOUR CHARACTER EVEN IF IT TURNS OUT THAT SHE DOESN'T LIKE THEM AT ALL. GOT IT?
I'd just like to take this opertunity to make this notice to everyone...
The character and you are two different people. Your character doesn't know everything you do, they haven't read these profiles, they haven't read the posts, they don't know other characters thoughts, origins, to a degree their real names unless they are told in the RPG. Just don't fall into the trap of having your character know things he shouldn't, as it's likely to get people pissed off.
Thank you. :)
Update: Due to recent brainstorms, my character profile has been edited.
I deleted one of Diva's powers today (the healy one) as IMHO it didn't suit her.

Real Name: Robert Castro
Superhero Secret Identity: Disastrous Jim
Race: Human
Appearance: Jim is a rather scruffy man. He wears a cream coloured hat and long coat, a fashion statement to show he isn't an ordinary detective. The rest of his clothing is made up of various colours in shirts, black trousers and unpolished brown shoes. He has moderately strong facial features, which he describes as "ruggedly handsome". Messy black hair sits atop his head and a thick layer of stubble on his face (shaving doesn't agree with him). Jim is just above average height, and not very physically imposing. He can easily fade into the background and not be noticed in a crowd.
Personality: Jim is the boss, and that's not just his own deluded state of mind. Jim has such an emotional presence that he can bend the rules until they snap, and no one dare question him, as though he has a humbling aura. However, when he's not full on rude, arrogant or authoritive, he tones himself down to casually observing the situation over a drink or a cigar. However, he does have extreme problems with authority, anybody who perceives themselves as above him and Americans.
Super-Secret Origin Story: Born and schooled in Manchester, Jim moved to Oxford to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer. All was going pretty well, until he realised that all the other students were complete and utter swine. Several things made Jim decide to change his course and become a Private detective, there was the concaine snorting in the toilets, the mindless sexual abuse of the female officers, the racist remarks... but what really sealed the deal for him was the fact he didn't like the police chief's face. Shallow, yes, but to be fair, he was extraordinarily ugly.
Jim spent about two or three years as a private eye, solving murders, getting clobbered by armed thugs and of course flirting with the odd hour-glass figured, rich client now and then. But he soon got bored of it, and pursued a different path as the worlds first, fully fledged paranormal detective. Travelling strange new realities, killing homicidal vampire wizards from the gates of hell and enjoying the unique privlage of the psychic Network, Jim has had many unique gifts bestowed upon him and has never looked back since. Well, except when he realised the pay was better, but when you're stuck in a niche market, what can you do?
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
The Psychic Network: The Psi-Network is a special service available to those "tuned in" to certain paranormal wavelengths. A collection of psykers, mystics and conspiracy theorists, it's much like a phone network of the mind, only filled with stranger people than you would find in the typical party line... and that IS saying something.
Jim has an attuned sense, which is like a sixth sense only not as potent. He can often sense minor things (such as a punch being thrown) before they happen. However, a knock on effect of this is that it seems to invoke visions in other people around him... heh, some people get all the fun.
Because of his travels through other realms and beyond time and space, Jim's eyes have adjusted so that in his own reality, he can see through very thin surfaces. This allows him to see through tinted glass, thin walls, clothing... a rather interesting perk of the job.
Disadvantages:
While he can hold his own in a bar room brawl, Jim is, basically, a normal human. Physically fit though he is, he wouldn't be able to hold up to Super villains giving him a pounding in the gut.
Jim's "unique" views on life and overwhelming presence will most likely put him at odds with most people, ally or not. Meaning he doesn't make for the best team member in the world.
Gear: Jim has a few strange and wonderful devices. Pendants, dowsing rods, various pieces of sharpened wood. No crosses though, he can't abide crosses. However, for uncomplicated cases, he sticks to a pen that when used to make dots of a certain shape, can detect the amount paranormal energy at a crime scene and his trusty pistol (fitted with silver bullets as standard). Taking on additional weaponry when need be. Not to mention the normal pens, notebooks, etc. a detective is expected to carry. And the essentials, such as cigars, alcohol... you know, the really important stuff.
Loved Ones:
The Gaffer - Once a Human being, Gaffer was cursed by the Lords of Reincarnation for crimes of an unspeakable nature. Turned to a dog and bound to Jim by pure luck (it may be worth noting that they never met as humans), the Gaffer has never been too far away from him since. Jim treats the Gaffer like a person, and won't be impressed if he's treated otherwise.
Master Branson & Pedula - While not directly related to the extravagant Millionaire and his butler, Branson has been funding Jim for some time and allowing him to use his resources. His butler, Pedula, provides valuable information from Branson's own wealth of database. The two are also kind enough to store all his case files for him, as he has a habit of... losing them. Branson also provides the detective with cover stories, employment and a place to stay if the heat is ever on.
Quote:
"Heh, Is that a water balloon in your pocket, or are you just ecstatic to see me?"
All right, I had to make an update of my char, since the background change and concept evolution. Anyone who's not very comfortable with it, feel free to tell me.
He rarely wears clothes other than sport ones, and likes to have his face shaved, and his hair cut short. He's somewhat of a chick magnet.
As when fighting crime, he wears usually a black spandex stealthy ninja suit, filled with his gadgets. The attire has both trousers and shirt, wich end in black tipless gauntless, and a hood who covers his mouth and head. His eyes remain hidden by a red mask, neatly put behind the hood, that gives him a sinister glare. He also wears a red bandana tied up in his head.
Personality: He's perseverant.
Born from an odd combination of an English spy passing of as ambassator and a Japanese woman, Ray's life had been marked by hardships. Being born in the industrial modern Japan , he had to live a tough life, ever since his father had to flee due to "business", and his mother assasinated by the Yakuza for unknown reasons, leaving him to fend off for himself, while having to take care of his 5 year old sister.
With his revenge accomplished, Ray and Kori, his sister ,fled from Japan as soon as he had notice of his father dying. He settled in his father's city Lutonopolis, and opened a Japanese food restaurant called Sushi Express, in wich he has several employees by now. He seeks the day where he can discover the truth about his paternal figure.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Combat Mastery:He is extremely skilled with the fists, the blade weapons and the throwable weapons (shurikens, daggers).
Out-of-Limit Fitness: His fitness wich allows him to perform stunts, is beyond the classical human limits. His strength is equal to a master martial artist, and his agility and speed are his most. He can perform unrealistic, videogame like jumps.
Stealth: He's a ninja. Ninjas are masters of stealth, they know how to stay away from the sight, and they can walk silently. Ninjas can also disguise, too.
Blindsense: Crimson's trained senses are highly proficient.Even so, he's actually capable of seeing without using his eyes. Namely, aided by his other senses, Crimson can pretty much remain aware of his surroundings, even if it's invisible or there is no light presence. This ability is not able to distinguish purely visual effects, and it's hampered when his other senses(like hear and touch) are affected.
Power Break:The ultimate defence piercer. Crimsom basically concentrates for a while, and after that, executes an extremely powerful blow with his bare fist, followed by a force blast of unknown nature wich renders everything to pieces regardless of nature. The blast is highly located.
Trauma: Crimson still retains a very deep mental scar regarding the hardships in his childhood. This is what fuels both his obsession and his rage.
Blindsense Jam: Some conditions, like deafening and numbness will completely nullify the ability to emulate his sight.
Gear:
Red Mask
Shuriken (many)
Heavy Duty Katana.(high quality sword, which can even cut through thick materials).
Smoke bombs, lockpick, and mini scalpel for scapism tricks.
Loved ones: Obviously, the employees of his restaurant. Holds special regard for Kori Smith, his sister, a 15 year hot headed girl with somewhat clumsy behaviour(It does seem to be intended, though) that loves his big brother Crimson and aspires to be as strong as him. She has the vice of calling everything cute despite its appearance.

NOTE:
Change 1) I have removed all elements of Kanji magic, but for the one that keeps him alive. That led, in turn, to a change of gear and advantages/disadvantages.
Change 2) Various changes to advantages: Kanji magic is gone, enhanced senses has been removed from vampire abilites (And the stuff has been toned down from superhuman to enhanced. Makes a difference.), enhanced agility added to abilites, toned down concentration somewhat, added enchanted pistols, removed the folded steel katana for CKW, replaced it with explosives expert.
Change 3) Various changes to disadvantages: Kanji magic is gone, distortion has been added, edited bloodlust, added enchanted pistol disadvantage, changed life symbol slightly.
Change 4) Note added to the end of post.
__________________________________________________________
Real Name: Jonathon Lemmands (Unknown to him.)
Superhero Secret Identity: The Ronin (Usually just Ronin in conversation)
Race: Vampire (Not immeadiatly appearent to those who don't recognise vampires)
Appearance: Ronin looks much like a drop out from the Matrix. Long black overcoat, black slacks, black t-shirt. He stands tall at 6'5" and has handsomely dishevelled hair (A vampire never looks like he's unprepared. He just looks rough and ready in a ruggishly handsome way.). He wears a katana and scabbard on his back and a pair of large, heavy duty handguns in two holsters at the back of his waist with a wakizashi (Foot long "samurai knife" used sometimes for fighting, and for disembowelment once the samurai has become thouroughly dishonoured) hung between them. Speaks with a smooth if somewhat condesending voice and, just as a point of interest, has broken necks for the Matrix remarks. He looks like a 20 year old, though no one knows how old he actually is.
Personality: Calm, cool, professional. He has a chilling habit of looking totally uncaring as he kills a man. It takes a lot to get him rilled up, but when he does get angry, he is a force to be reckoned with. He does make mistakes when pissed, though, and that can be used to an enemy's advantage. He is a cold blooded killer, but adheres to a strict code of honour due to his history however. (See Origins)
Super-Secret Origin Story: Ronin doesn't remember much about his past life, save the fact that he had hit rock bottom and chose to become a vampire to gain the powers bestowed upon one. He knows that he was born sometime in 19th century, possibly to a wealthy family. He has vauge recollections about a horrible plauge and the death of his family when he was just nearing adulthood. The rest of his life before his slaying is unknown to him.
This information is not known to Ronin or any other character. Ronin's family lived on the outskirts of 19th century New York. After the plauge that took his family in 1837, Jonathon, aged 18 at the time, tried to take over the estates of his wealthy father. He failed miserably, and by the time he was 20 had lost everything. He was in some back alley in London, cuddling his last bottle of beer and about to take a knife to his wrists when the vampire Bartholomew found him. Drawn by the power that Bartholomew promised him, Jonathon agreed to become a vampire. At first Ronin was unwilling to drink from a human, but after being overcome by blood lust and killing a close friend of his, he became disillusioned with the life of a vampire. He fought with Bartholomew who, as the vampire who had sired him, declared ownership over Jonathon. Bartholomew won the battle and Ronin was forced to flee to England, making his way to Japan over the course of three years. After eight years of as usual a life a vampire can expect, Bart found Jon again. Jonathon was beaten once more but before Bart could kill him, Jon disappeared. He was taken in by a secluded sect of samurai who offered to teach him combat skills.
Jonathon was forced to prove himself worthy of power once more, and gained the trust of the warriors. Over a course of fifty years hidden away from Bartholomew, he became adept in employing both the combat and code of honour of the samurai. Using his new skills he was able to defeat his former master, but was mortally wounded in the fight. Using their magic, the samurai were able to secure his resurection after his death by carving a powerful symbol of life on his chest. Even so, it took a furthur fifty years for him to come back to life. The following Ronin knows.
In the year 1950, he awoke. As mentioned before, he remembered very little of his former life, but had just enough memory to dub himself The Ronin, which is a dishonoured samurai. He had found his way to Lutonopolis by 1960 and continued to train everyday in his former arts. He offered his services as a freelancer, a hitman who would take any job that he deemed "honourable." Come 1975, he started training himself with firearms. He's made a name for himself by these days and incorporates firearms into most of his missions. He always carries a couple of home made pistols, but when the need arises, he can break out with the big stuff.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Vampiric abilities: These are the powers and abilities endowed to all vampires: Enhanced strenght, enhanced speed, enhanced agility, supernatural regenetive powers, fangs.
Unnatural longevity: Ronin is nigh impossible to kill, because his heart was removed during his morbid slumber. There are ways to kill him, but I'll get to that in disadvantages.
Enhanced concentration: This comes about as a result of Ronin's training. When he concentrates only on the fight at hand and nothing else, he is able to fight much better (Actual technique used by samurai. It's nothing really superhuman anymore.) He has adapted this to his guns, and has near perfect aim after concentration.
Enchanted pistols: As a reward for the completion of one of his jobs, Ronin's employers enchanted the vampire's pistols with fire magic. They now have the ability to "charge up", which takes a significant amount of time, and spew bullet-like fireballs at at target. The longer he concentrates the magic, the more powerful it is. The most powerful shot the guns are capable of firing has enough power to rip through concrete and level a building.
Explosives expert: Through extensive training, Ronin has become especially proficient in the production and setting of explosives. He can wire a car's wheels to blow off with barely a scratch to the chasis, or he can wire that self same car to fly to the moon. One way tickets only.
Freezer Surfer : Ronin has the unique ability to travel through the 'freezer shafts' which permeate the SSR world, allowing him to instantaniously appear when needed, even if he is attending a funeral on the other side of town and locked in conversation with two beautiful (Ha!) young ladies. (sorry SW, AI made me do it ~ VO)
God modder: Similar to freezer surfer, but actually accepted now (And noticed by the ****ing author...), Ronin is God, cheese, et al. Thank you, and good night.
Disadvantages:
Vampiric disadvantages: These are the disadvantages endowed upon all vampires: Weakness to sunlight, weakness to holy water, weakness to silver, weakness to holy objects (But not garlic. Don't believe anything you hear.)
Distortion: When a vampire comes into contact with or gets within one foot of any of the objects he or she is weak to, their world becomes distorted. This means that they cannot see straight, can't hear anything but a ringing in their ears, feel immense confusion and pain where the object has touched them.
Bloodlust: This happens if a vampire does not drink blood for several days. It is essentially starvation. He will lose himself in the 'lust if it goes on too long and eventually simply degrade into an animal. Once he reaches this state, it is easier to fight him, provided you know how to hunt a beast. If it goes on for too long, the gene that is responsible for vampiricy will simply die, and the vampire himself will die with it. In agony. Over the course of about an hour.
Enchanted pistols: With great power, eh? The magic overflow everytime Ronin actually uses the fire magic means that he himself gets burned. The more powerful the shot, the more extensive the wound. The most powerful charge will end up with him having burnt arms and patches of chest burned. He can fire them without using the magic, however. They're just not as effective.
Life symbol: The symbol on his chest, the one that resurected him, is now his weak point. If there was a way to incapacitate The Ronin for long enough, the section of his torso could be removed (By any means), and he would die. It doesn't go very deep, so if someone was willing to skin his chest, they could probably remove it.
NOTE: All disadvantages, except for the vampiric disadvantages which most people know, are unknown to the common man. Someone who is a specialist on vampires might know them, however. End note
Gear: (Normal, non-folded steel) Katana, high powered hanguns, wakizashi, masses of plastic explosives.
Loved Ones: Everyone he's ever loved died long ago. He's gotten used to the fact, and doesn't become attached anymore. Cheerful, no?
Quote: "The murder of an unarmed civilian is pityful. The defeat of a warrior is glorious."
Note: Bushido incorporates elements of martial arts and various unarmed combat as well as sword play. I'm going to stick mostly to the sword, but there will be times when he uses them. Also, as a samurai, he is meant to show no emotion as he fights, and as such he will seem a very two dimensional character at times. Last of all, even if he isn't as honourable as he once was, he will still honour his promises and not kill those who are defenceless.
'cos I felt like doing a profile. I may never use this character
Real Name: Reginald Thumbb
Superhero Secret Identity: Mr Bitesize
Race: Liliputian (human)
Appearance: Mr Bitesize appears to be a regular human male in his late middle age, with short, dark hair and a perpetual twinkle in his blue eyes. Infact, the only physical difference that Homo Lilliputia has with Homo Sapiens is physical size – Mr Bitesize being an unnaturally large Lilliputian stands only five and a half inches tall! Reginald wears scaled down versions of regular human clothes, while Mr Bitesize is clad in a miniature spandex uniform in red and orange, with a magnifying glass logo on the chest. This uniform is supplemented at the chest, head, and lower arms by mysterious silver Lilliputian armour.
Personality: Mr Bitesize is sparky and engaging, fond of jest but quick to attain full seriousness when the situation demands. Despite his small stature, Mr Bitesize sees himself as fully the equal of any ‘biggies’, and will stand up to anyone despite their being twenty times his size. While some may call this foolhardy when facing deadly enemies, Mr Bitesize fights evil with a smile, and as yet has always emerged unscaved.
Super-Secret Origin Story:
Hailing from the mysterious lost island of Lilliput, Reginald grew tired with sedentary life in it’s agrarian, although highly advanced technologically society. As crime is virtually non-existent in that hidden land, Thomas left for Neo-England in search of adventure. And adventure he certainly got – facing villains that literally dwarfed him, Mr Bitesize, as he came to be known, realised that he must fight with guile and strategy as well as the legendary super-strength of his family line.
Super Powers / Extraordinary Abilities:
- Strength of the Thumbbs – some mysterious accident in the distant past granted the thumb family stupendous (for Lilliputians) strength – Mr Bitesize has the strength of four Homo Sapien males, providing an unexpected advantage in combat and making him an unexpected challenge to many adversaries.
- Lilliputian Stature – Reginald is a Lilliputian, making him a very small target.
- Lilliputian Technology – Reg’s native technology provides a natural advantage in combat (see Gear)
Disadvantages:
- Small – Reg is easily trapped in strong crates or boxes, and may have trouble escaping the blast of grenades and similar weapons.
Gear:
Lilliputian Levitation Belt – When using this mysterious device, Mr Bitesize can fly.
Force Bracers – These twin, expertly crafted pieces of armour can throw up an impenetrable forcefield if Mr Bitesize expects an attack. While maintaining the forcefield, Mr Bitesize cannot move, and, while projecting a forcefield to cover only himself requires very little power, trying to cover a ‘regular’ sized person drains the Lilliputian Lithium Batteries very quickly. The Force Bracers can also launch a variety of miniature missiles, from high explosive to heat-seaking. These of course carry very small charges due to their size.
Force Carapace – Mr Bitesize’s silver carapace armour can withstand even the blast from a high-powered laser!
Force Helmet - The miniature computer systems built into Mr Bitesize's helmet allow him X-ray, Thermal, Sonic, and various other forms of technological vision when the visor is down. This helmet also allows him to resist mental powers when worn.
Miniaturiser Gun - This large (to Mr Bitesize's stature), double-handed weapon can shrink any inorganic object to a size where he can use it. Objects can be unshrunk, but not "in the field" by the Miniaturiser Gun - They must be returned to Reg's Lab beneath the Dean Statue in Lutonopolis's Wescorp square to be returned to full size.
Quote: “I warn you, do NOT underestimate me!”
Loved ones: Reginald’s wife (Minutia) lives in Lilliput, and raises his three children (Tom, Dick, and Harry). Reginald knows very few people in Lutonopolis.

There goes voes, putting us all to shame again.
And we love him for it! :p
Real Name:Eric Andersen
Super Hero Secret Identity: The Stapler
Appearance: An average-looking twenty year old englishman, Eric has never been particulary special about his appearance, save for one thing, his toned body, wich betrays his regular exercise habits. He always wears his red hair cut short, so he has little worry about combing it. When his eyes are not narrowed to two slits due to sleep need, they show blue irises. When he's not fighting crime, he wears casual clothes most of the time, wich enhaced the tired look that both his stubble and overall facial expression show.
When fighting crime, he doesn't need to wear anything special,as his power suit covers much of his body with purple-blackish plates, that seem to fit well in his body, allowing a certain degree of flexibility. One exception are the gauntlets, wich are tipless. He also sports a Staple crest in the middle of the chest. Of course, his head is also covered in a helmet, wich sports a mirrored visor.
Personality: Often mistaken by an idiotic clerk who is always moaning about how dull and boring is life, Stapler hides his true personality with care. As such, his attitude is of that of a wolf with lamb's skin, distracting people with his moanings when gathering knowledge and resources with wit. In the very deep of his heart, he still sports his once rebel spirit, of fighting the stablished order for the better of the fair people. But now, from inside the system. However, woe to the wretched ones who only seek their own wealth to the point of stepping over others. Stapler won't forgive. As they didn't had any kind of considerations with him.
Super Secret Origin Story: Born from an average mid-class family, young Eric always was fascinated at the people who gave their lifes to defend an ideal, and as such, he tried to emulate them. Needless to say he failed. Being young and inexperienced, his ideas were anything but sucessful. What is more, they served as a bitter elixir that awoke him to the truth. Going on the front wasn't the solution. he needed to go undercover, then take things from the very inside. Meanwhile, his father, worried about this air-headed son of his, forced him to study an engineering career, and put him in a cubicle inside the CKW industries, so he'd gain stability and forget about its silly ideals.
He ALMOST succeed. However, one day, an overworked Eric received yet another complaint from his boss (the typical bastard) wich made the young man snap out of it. His patience, depleted, Eric nailed the bastard against a wall and stapled its mouth. He was fired soon after from CKW. However, for the first time in his life, Eric had a great deal of support, from his co-workers and friends. Since then, Eric resolved to help easening the burden of honest people who are often squished by a merciless system in wich the greedy and the ill-tempered triumph.
And so, using the hacking skills he developed during earlier stages from his life, started to derivate funds to his cause... eventually gathering up resources for him to perfom engineering tasks. Now that he had a gear(made with stolen funds, but nobody's perfect), he would start to punish the greedy people!
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
The Staplegun: Eric's home brewed gun, this behemoth the size of a gattling gun sports a mass accelerator wich can be adjusted to shoot steel, giant staples in a range of speeds from just nailing people against a wall, to fending off armor plates.
Rubber Grapple: A device located in his wrist, this device basically contains a polymer wich can be propelled at distance. The polymer's special build allow it to change its properties depending on several factors, such as micro-electric discharges. It can act as a sticky goo, bouncy and stretchy rubber, or as a hard and flexible whip at Stapler's decision.
Armor of Imperturbability: Made from strange alloys, this armor is guaranteed to repel most harmful things (such as bullets and radiation). It also sports a built-in accumulator to feed the insane amounts of power that Stapler's trinkets need, and also an enhaced bionic system wich helps Stapler move swiftly when wearing the heavy armor.
Photocopying Belt: Weirdest of Stapler's trinkets, this device can create a exact, temporal copy of the wielder, for distraction. Take in note that the copies could also put a fight on their own, but are much weaker and will vanish in a few hits, given their copy nature. This device is the most power-hungry of all of them.
Computer Mayhem: Stapler's may not look like it, but he has enough wits to become one of the best hackers in the world. There's no computer who can resist his magical hands and brain.
Disadvantages:
- Low Power: Certain conditions (water, EMP...) can shut down Stapler's suit. This leaves him almost defenceless, save for his plated armor and hacking skills. When in low power, bionics won't work, so he wouldn't be able to run at a decent pace, too.
- Variable alertness: Due to the periodical lifestyle he used to be, Stapler will suffer from sleep need at certain times (mostly the night), and thus his alertness and skill will drop considerably.
Gear:
Accumulator Backpack
Bionic Armor
Staple Gun
Wrist Laptop
Several wire tools.
Helmet with Visor
Rubber Grappler
Photocopying Belt
Small thermic bottle with coffee (don't ask)
Loved ones: No one. he's a solo.

Real Name: He adopted the name Andrew when he realised he needed one, but hasn't really bothered extending into second name teritory.
Superhero Secret Identity: Master O'laldy
Appearance: Master O'laldy is built like... Well, a brick wall. He walks tall and proud above most other men, except when he's slouching. Which, to be fair he is a lot of the time. Each muscle on his body is finely carved with strange ginger fungus (otherwise known as hair) growing all over it. His facial features are as craggy as the white cliffs of Dover, but don't tell him that as he might consider it an insult, with an over-sized ginger moustache sprouting from under his nose complimented by a plaited beard and unruly hair that when not left looking a complete and utter mess, is often tied back in a pony tail. Both his beard and his hair are decorated with trohpies of fallen foes when in his super hero guise, which in the twenty first century isn't all that impressive to be honest. In his super hero guise he wears the armour listed below, otherwise he wears whatever old rags he can get his hands on. It's also worth mentioning that Master O'laldy looks and feels like a real human.
Personality: Destined for greatness, but nobody who'd meet him would know it. It's true that Master O'laldy is a rather pathetic character who comes across as a drunkard with no hope and no life worth living. He cares not for his personal image, except for when he is on the field of battle. Where he prides himself as being the avatar of Caledonia and is truly a spectacle to behold. In battle he is ruthless... Or just careless, and that's all there is to it. Outside battle he's rather world weary. Concentrating on how to get along until his next pint. But once he has settled in with a particular group of people, he looks after them and leads them as if they were his own clan!
Assuming they can understand his accent, that is...
Super-Secret Origin Story: Ancient Caledonia, 82AD. The ever lingering threat of a Roman invasion force just on the other side of the great wall was growing greater by the day... Or it could have been declining. To be honest, nobody had looked over the bloody thing since it had been built, so nobody was quite sure exactly what the state of events was over there. Two years ago, a pilgramage had been sent out to Stone Henge to seek the aid of the Spirit of Caledonia in repelling the invaders, but after two years, people were losing hope. In fact, after a few months people had pretty much lost hope and assumed they'd all beded down with some wee lassies somewhere and were off drinking ale houses dry.
Undeterred, they decided if they couldn't go to the Sprit of Caledonia, they'd bring it to them. Entire clans of savage Scots worked night and day, preparing the nescessary rituals, working tirelessly at the forges, draining just the right amount of ale from tankards until they were ready. Ready to create a living, breathing avatar to the Spirit of Caledonia. Forged from the very stone of Hadrians Wall it's self, he would be an iconic warrior that would turn the Romans own defences against them! Who'd finally unite the warring clans of Caladonia and induce a sickening fear into the Roman Empire that would last for milenia! He was to be a God on Earth....
.... Except he arrived a few centuries too late.
So, you have a bad night? So you get a wee bit pissed? So you pass out and are completely dead to the world? Hell, you might even have a killer hangover the next morning and decide you just don't want to be disturbed until it's gone... Whats so bad about that? Well, when your the Spirit of Caledonia it's quite a substantial problem, actually. When your hangovers last several hundred years, is it really that bad to put your followers on hold for awhile? I mean, the Romans went away on their own! And true to their summons, he did create the very essence of Scotland... So what if they're all too dead to see it?
And so it was, out of long expired fear, age old pride and just plain laziness, Master O'laldy was born! Tearing himself from the weather worn, moss eaten stone of Hadrians Wall to find himself... Well, decidedly naked really. His armour scattred across the world and very few people having his figure, he set out on his first great quest... To find the shirt off his own back. Incidently, he found his kilt on the set of Braveheart and it actually bears a terror-induced signature from Mel Gibson. Who'd have thought it?
With one epic quest already behind him, our craggy faced hero faced a new challenge. No Romans. He tried his hardest to subsitute for this by chasing off tourists, classing them as 'Invaders of Scotland', but found the fines harder to bare than any mighty axe blow. And the less said about the time he tried to chase Queen Cassandra's French suitorPhilipe De Scorn from Balmoral the better. Lost in the world, without an objective and without two coins to rub togeather (or better still, buy a pint! He'd been sober for bluidy years!), many an avatar to the great national spirits would have broken down into gravel and gone on to face a bleak future paving somebodys driveway. But no! Master O'laldy had a destiny! He was born into the world to do greater things! He would undertake a noble and honourable challenge that would see his name go down in history in the long term, and in the short term by him a keg of ale!
Well, that's what cab driving seemed like at the time. What nobler cause is there to ferry people from one way to the other? Not exactly heroic looking back, mind... But at least he got the booze! But even in his regular drunken hazes he just knew something was missing in his life. He needed something to elevate him to greatness, something that would cement his name in history, as originally intended.... Super heroing came about by chance really. He was sat in a pub one day, drinking away his life, when a game involving four drunken lads, an extraordinary high level of flagulance and a lighter went horribly wrong. To cut a long story short (mainly as our hero was too hungover to remember the details) he threw himself out of the window, barmaid in one hand, landlords wife in the other just as the fire reached a gasmain and exploded. Unfortunatly he passed out soon afterwards, and most of the other occupants burned alive before the fire crews got there. But it's the thought that counts, eh?
Ever since, Master O'laldy has been caught in comprmising positions of heroic acts, usually without realising it. It wasn't until one day an old woman gave him a bit of spare change for knocking a tree down to rescue a cat that he realised this could be a nice little side earner. So started his career moonlighting as a super hero! It's all for the renown and nobility, honest...
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
'ard as nails - Master O'laldy is as hard as a skinheaded glaswegian football team on enough steriods to pump an elephant up to twice it's natural size, and then some! It'll take a hell of a beating to down this lad! Och!
Happy Hour - The more alcahol Master O'laldy has running through his veins, the more dangerous and unrestrained he is. Less accurate, yes, but when your swining around an ungodly amount of wrought haggis iron, who cares?
Master O'laldy was made to see off whole legions of the Roman army all by himself. This means that he pocesses super strength... Well, how else did you think he swung his axe?
Highland Fling - Using his mighty bagpipes, Master O'laldy can instil the fear of God into his enemies, breaking even the sturning of wills with his wailing melodies.
He is made of stone and the living embodiment of the spirit of Caledonia. As such, all psyhic and magical powers used against him are null and void. And I do mean ALL magic, reguardless of what it is, or what it effects (unless it's manipulating actual, physical objects and throwing them at him).
Disadvantages:
Master O'laldy is slower than a one footed Haggis hobbling up a steep enbankment when in full armour. He has nothing in the way of agility or grace.
Unhappy hour - Drinking can work both ways, and nobody likes fighting hung over, do they?
Due to an unexplainable weakness in his otherwise formidable armour, a direct hit to the Sporran can prove fatal for Master O'laldy.
Fish & Chips bring him out in a terrible rash and give him a bad case of indigestion, especially potent if they're wrapped in newspaper and bathed in salt and vinegar.
Gear:
A full suit of ornamental Scottish armour made from pulped thistles from the most sacred highland groves imbued with the finest brought haggis iron by the greastest craftsmen of the time. This includes an armoured helmet (with a bonnie wee bobble atop it!), brestplate, sash, kilt (complete with armoured sporran, for keeping the privates functional!) and large, practical, stops-for-nothing-or-nobody-boots. All painted in his tribes colours.
Bagpipes made from Nessies spare heart and the strongest reed from the banks of Loch ness.
Axe O'laldy - The Axe O'laldy (or of laldy) is far from a weapon of finesse. Roughly a ton of wrought haggis iron, swung around by it's master as if it were paper mache. Needless to say, the colleateral damage is high.
Loved Ones: He's a feckin' greet chunka stone, ain't he? 'ow many lassies and wee 'uns d'ya think he'd 'ave, yer emptae 'eaded numpties!

'cos I felt like it. And we need a 'tank' hero.
Real Name : Achilles
Superhero Alias : N/A
Race : Demigod
Appearance : A massive bronzed warrior of Mediterranean appearance, Achilles stands almost seven feet tall, from head to foot clad in rippling musculature. His physical stature knows no match among the myriad of health clubs and gyms across the land. This magnificent example of virility and raw human strength is topped with a sea of golden curls and piercing blue eyes set in a face that could perhaps be described as boyish if it did not radiate such awesome power.
Personality : Achilles is bold, intelligent, but ultimately perhaps overconfident in his own invulnerability. He may be impulsive but predictably so ; he has no knowledge of the modern world and thus may react strangely to some of it’s customs. He’s courteous among women but subscribes to the cultural and social values of several centuries BC. Achilles would be a fish out of water if he wasn’t as deadly as a shark.
Super-Secret Origin Story :
Achilles is a largely fictional of a character brought vividly to life by the wonders of science. Achilles believes himself to be the son of Peleus and the sea nymph Thetis, a virtually invincible mortal of god-like stature who fought in the Trojan war. Achilles’ divine power is a result of his immortal parentage and his being dipped into the river Styx as a baby. This history follows the Homeric Illiad exactly.
Achilles was zapped into the world by a strange experiment by maverick scientists working in secret for CKW enterprises. It is unknown what exactly the goals of this were, but the creature known as Achilles was created and brought to consciousness in an instant by some arcane magic or machine deep within the bowels of CKW’s Lutonopolis facilities. Upon his creation, Achilles, lost, confused and believing himself killed by an arrow loosed by Paris revolted against his ‘creators’, slaughtering them and escaping despite the heavy CKW armour and weaponry brought against him, disappearing into the Lutonopolis night.
Note : Achilles’ creation gave him the mysterious ability to speak English as if he was speaking classical Greek.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities :
Invincible : Achilles is, as far as anyone can discern, invincible. Bullets bounce off him, punches thrown slide away, falling anvils bounce away in a comic fashion etc.
Superior Training : Achilles is a master of all classical weapons – swords, spears, shortbows etc. He is trained in a variety of both armed and unarmed fighting styles, and practiced in all ancient sports and is thus highly adept at kicking all kinds of butt.
Strength : Achilles is strong. Very strong. Not unlimitedly though, but beyond the ability of normal humans. Due to his invincibility he can’t be crushed while holding up a falling ceiling either.
Weaknesses :
Achilles Heel : Achilles was held by his mother Thetis by the heel when dipped into the River Styx. This is the only part of the body where he can be dealt a mortal – or indeed any kind of wound.
Man of Other Times : Achilles comes from a time that didn’t even truly exist. He’s completely ignorant of modern cultural and social trends, history, and even the myriad of high-tech weaponry employed by today’s warriors. That doesn’t mean he won’t learn fast, however.
Gear :
Classical-style sword, spear, myrmidon armour and round shield stolen from the Lutonopolis historical recreation society.
A variety of improvised and not-so-improvised clothes.
Loved Ones : None in real-life Lutonopolis. A variety might be ‘created’, though…
To clarafy on Master O'laldy, I've decided to shift him to being an NPC and a none-SSR member... But his profile can stay here anyway as I'm too lazy to move it...
... As for what I'll be using next chapter... Well...
Real Name: Ervik Hermannsonur
Superhero Secret Identity: The Solar Avenger
Appearance: The Solar Avenger is heavily tanned, a deep unearthly orange which seems to give off a radiant glow. His body, while realistically proportioned, could have been carved from stone. He doesn't have muscles rippling on muscles, but he is the text-book example of physically fit. Earthly brown dreadlocks, off-setting his over all radiance perfectly, snake down to below his shoulder blades while his eyes are like two blazing suns.
In Super hero guise, Solar Avenger wears a tight fitting black spandex suit, with a metalic gold triangle, the point ending at the centre of his body, just under his chest, and spreading from there to cover the tops of his shoulders and then back down to end at the same point on his back. This golden material also covers the upper side of his arm right down to his finger tips, his palms remaining uncovered so he can use his powers. Depicted in this triangle is his super-heroic-symbol of a cretinous shadow-like creature trapped in a shining lightbulb come cage. On top of that he wears a a high collared golden cape, held on by a piece of string clipped in place by two sun shaped clasps. Tight, calf-length, golden boots with a black band sandwiched between two gold stripes complete his costume. He wears no mask.
Solar Avenger's alter-ego wears stylish, tinted glasses and usually wears a pin-stripe suit, only usually with his jack thrown over his shoulder, no tie and the top buttons of his shirt undone.
Personality: Laid back is the order of the day for this super human. Prefering to lay back on a comfortable sofa, arms outstretched and grinning mischeviously at any passing ladies than partaking in any kind of training or tactical planning. That's not to say he won't pull his weight, mind. He adores the idea of saving people and will happily depart from his latest endevour even if it is only to save an errant cat from a tree. He's a genuinly all 'round nice guy, although he is also slightly immature and has a habit of cracking jokes at the most inappropriate times. He's also more than a little friendly with the ladies, but knows a rejection when he sees one. Even in business he takes this attitude, wafting through the corridors of FreeMedia like a breath of fresh air.
Super-Secret Origin Story: Jetisoned from a planet he has no recollection of whatsoever at an early age, he crash landed in Bolungarvik where he was tended by an elderly couple for the first few years of his life. The only relic of his past was a small chunk of metal. Iceland's half year of pepetual sunlight worked to the childs advantage, nousihing him, moulding him into the strong, proud indivdual he is today. However, during the other half of the year he became much more frail and more prone to illness. This baffled everybody from his adoopted parents, right up to the doctors who treated him.
As a teenager he moved to Reykjavik to study media. Much like his home town, he was as out of place in the big city as a wesball fan at a gym. However, where as in Bolungarvik he was considered a local oddity, in the city he just got strange looks and shrugs. He eventually landed himself a job in a small media company there, and gained valuable experiance. While working here, he was chatting up one of the office workers when she casually commented that his backside was glowing. He looked around in confusion, raising his hand that had been firmly behind his back to reveal that it was shining like a gaslamp. Hastily apologising, he left almost imediatly and headed for the nearest janitors closet.
Once in his mid-twenties, he departed Iceland, now having a sort of control over his new found powers, leaving for Neo-England. He had discovered he could manipulate light through the palms of his hands, however wasn't sure at this point what else he could do. Once in Neo-England, he used the money left over from selling his home and belonings to set up a small news company he called FreeMedia studios. Over the years, this grew and became surprisingly popular. Offering a more factual, upbeat experiance than the competitors. Now he had some money to play around with he settled himself in an expensive appartment and hired Lydia, a personal assistant, to handle most aspects of the business for him. He also employed a butler who, one day, when he was polishing the mantle piece knocked what he thought was an ornament from it. He was wrong. It fell to the floor, hairline cracks forming in it's shell. Ervik rushed in, to find that the strange piece of metal he had carried from childhood was giving birth... To, well, a robot.
The tiny drone, who he called Blinkers, due to his constantly flickering screen-like eyes, also had no recollection of his home planet. His circuits damaged from his prolonged stay in his protective casing, which had malfunctioned and not opened after the landing as planned. However, once plugged into a nearby computer, he soon downloaded the entire interent. Making him the leading authority on pornography and fraud among other things.
It was Blinkers who first inspired his move into super heroism. After all, he had all the trappings of your regular deranged super human who entered that line of work, even having a demented sidekick in the form of Blinkers. And while the world of business bored him to tears, he considered that he was always more of a people person... He had the compassion, he had the powers, he had the ecentrcity and once he had the costume, well... The rest is history.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Solar Avenger can manipulate pure light, blasting it in pure white beams or forming it into shapes.
He can also fly, leaving behind a trail of golden light wherever he goes.
His body also acts like a solar battery, using UV rays to strengthen himself to inhuman levels. The stronger he gets, the more his muscles ripple and grow to compensate. When he is finished with this excess strength, he can release the energy he is storing in one great outburst of light. But the sheer heat and intensity of this action could prove fatal for anybody in the area.
Disadvantages:
Lack of Sunlight drains power away from the Solar Avenger, eventually leaving him like a normal man. He cannot fly in dark places, nor can he absorb more light for strength. He'll also loose any stored light, though very slowly.
Absorbing UV rays to boost his own strength is fine, in moderation. But if he goes too far, or he leaves himself as a hulking beast of a man witth muscles upon muscles, this could cause long term damage to his body.
Mirrors and shiney surfaces can easily deflect his powers.
Gear: None
Loved Ones:
Blinkers: A cigar shaped robot with two flickering screens for eyes. His exterior is painted black and gold and he dons a cape of the same colour, with the Solar Avenger's insignial printed on it. He's a floating encyclopedia with his specialist subjects being pornography, internet fraud and baseless arguments. Considered a sidekick by the Avenger.
Lydia: His hapless personal assist. A professional business woman doing the errants for somebody who couldn't really care less. While Ervik's offhand attitude to the company runnings annoys her to no end, she admires his boundless enthusiasm with the staff and finds him an rougish, charming man when they are togeather. She usually can be found charging around the offices of FreeMedia in a sensible grey, black or navy blue skirt and a not-so-sensible tight blouse. Her hair is usually worn in a tight bun and she usually looks absolutely exasperated.
Hardcastle: Herbert S.H.S.V Hardcastle is a man of stiff upper lip and even stiffer posture. Always seen in a dour black suit, he is a well built man with a craggy face and stern eyes, his greyhair surrounding the crown of his head but never growing on top of it. He does as he's told and what he's paid to do, which in his eyes is to look after his master. The only person aside from Blinkers who knows of Ervik's secret identity.

Good ole pseudoscience
Real Name : Lazarus Quick
Superhero Secret Identity : Ghost
Apperance : Lazarus is a medium sized, thin man in his early thirties. He has piercing blue eyes, black hair, and aristocratic features. He wears glasses and smart, but unremarkable dark clothes, and is rarely seen without a cigarette in his mouth and a wry smile in his face.
His super-secret identity is the same but with a bedsheet over his head.
Personality : Ghost is a sarcastic, reluctant hero. His powers are not combat-centric and he will often lurk on the sides of a fight or slip into the background than participate (although there are quite a few... entertaining ways to kill with his powers). He is both soft spoken and reluctant to speak, prefering to observe and save his carefully chosen cutting words for the right moment. Indeed, if he thought he could slip away from the SSR forever he would do so in a heartbeat. Politically, Lazarus is a super-supremacist, who thinks that those with awesome power should use it assert control over the world.
Super Secret Origin Story : Lazarus is a mutant, naturally born with his powers to an upper-class couple living in Kensington, London. He discovered them when he was thirteen and first used his amazing powers to walk into the school tuck shop and gorge himself on chocolates. Lazarus quickly discerned that his powers could carry him and his clothing through any solid object - but had no effect on items he was carrying, unless he stuffed them into his pockets. Soon he was using his skill to avoid the school bullies effortlessly, ace exams, and sneak into girl's bedrooms. He graduated the private academy he attended with almost perfect marks and attended Cambridge University.
In later life, Lazarus became a layabout, easily supporting his income with a variety of heists of valuabe small objects such as jewellery and museum peices that he could easily conceal on his person. He became addicted to crime, seeking to surpass his each and every achievement with a more daring theft. Eventually he was captured while robbing the Wescorp Headquarters in Lutonopolis, and pressganged into the SSR with the help of an explosive collar.
Super-powers :
Insubstantial - Ghost can dissociate the molecules that make up his body at will and thus pass through all but the densest materials. (thus his explosive collar is made out of hyperdense iridium).
Background Figure - Ghost has an amazing ability to simply not be noticed. He is an expert at not drawing attention to himself.
Weakness :
Noncom - Ghost has no direct combat related abilities. He is far more useful in a support role.
Gear : A small pack of lockpicks etc.
Loved Ones : None

Real Name : n/a
Superhero Secret Identity : Radar
Race : Giant Mutant Bat
Apperance : A giant, humanoid bat. Radar has leathery wings, a snub nose, and long ears, and is mostly covered in a downy fur. His torso is heavily muscled but his legs weak and atrophied. He stands about four and a half feet tall, hunched over, but would be seven feet if he drew himself up to his full stature.
Personality : Radar has developed some sentinence, placing him mid-way between a human and a dog. He is eager to please his friends in the SSR, and communicates via a series of chirps that the communicator around his neck renders into a synthetic human voice. The voice is that of a woman, although Radar is male. Radar sometimes has a hard time controlling his base, bat-like instincts, preferring to sleep hanging from the ceiling, liking to airially hunt for his food, and whipping himself up into a frenzy during a fight.
Super-Secret Origin Story : Radar is a failed experiment created by CKW enterprises, part of a plan to create a new breed of airial enforcer to guard CKW properties. However, the bats rebelled against the scientists operating on them in an orgy of bloodletting, Radar being the only survivor who dissapeared into the night.
In the chaos that followed, CKW enterprises desperately tried to recapture Radar to prevent his genetic code from falling into rival hands. However, he was captured in a climatic showdown by the SSR, and adopted by them as a sort of mascot. He currently resides in the water tower next to the SSR HQ.
Super Powers :
Super-sonar : Radar has highly advanced hearing and can use sonar to navigate in perfectly dark enviroments. He can also utter a high-pitched scream to incapacitate enemies.
Flight - Radar can fly.
Disadvantages :
Beast - Radar is not human and may not behave in a predictable manner.
Gear : translator box around his neck.
Loved Ones : Jim, because he brings him his dinner.

Cleaned up Diva and did her a better origin. Nothing in here changes the RPG, it's just more satisfying for me :)
Real Name : Riona Chasey
Superhero Secret Identity : Diva Ex Machina (Diva)
Appearance : Riona is an usually an attractive, busty woman standing approximately 5”8” tall, with red hair descending halfway down her back, long-lashed eyes, full lips and a pointed nose – she’s easily the most attractive female member of the SSR. Owning to her powers, she can alter her looks at will, and intends to keep it that way (and can easily change her form into another if she desires). She usually dresses in expensive and showy human clothes, and is physically indistinguishable from a normal, but incredibly attractive, human being.
Personality :
Riona is used to living in the lap of luxury. Before joining the SSR she used her powers to maintain her high-maintenance, but relatively anonymous existence, a glittery socialite on the bustling Lutonopolis scene. Even though she’s forced to live in the SSR headquarters she’s stocked her quarters with expensive furnishings, and even arranged with the cleaners to have her bedclothes changed daily. However, Riona is not a spoilt airhead – she’s got a frighteningly developed intellect and sharp tongue that would run rings round most people, should she desire, and can easily sweet-talk and manipulate most people to ensure that her personal needs are fulfilled.
The noble ideals of the SSR initially meant nothing to Riona, but over the course of the first explosive few weeks of working with the SSR, she found herself intertwined with the rest of the team. She’s developed a strong respect for Jim Castro and his capabilities, especially because he doesn’t seen so keen to totally flip out and blow up some kid just because he like slammed a window like most of the rest of the team, despite the fact that Jim can be quite obnoxious: in her words, Jim “is not just a bastard, but a bastard you can trust”. She developed a sort of flirtatious rivalry with the “idiot ninja” Crimson which quickly developed into a feud that Crimson took far more seriously than she did. She finds Charge a bit boring, but still a competent and level-headed member of the team, and regards both Equaliser and Ronin as somewhat overzealous – although she does find Ronin’s rugged handsomeness quite attractive. Dr Oppenheimer is openly nervous in her presence – probably because he’s married, which she finds quite funny, while Loki is far more interested in causing mischief than in the busty young superheroine.
Nethertheless, Riona is considerably less loyal towards the SSR than most of her co-members… she doesn’t have Crimson’s overblown Ninja Morals to keep her with the team.
Super-Secret Origin :
Riona’s origin story is less moralistic than many others – indeed, she has no real motivation to fight crime other than a vague “it’s probably the right thing to do.”. She has no “heroic” experience – indeed, she’s more a super-human than a super-heroine in her mindset.
Riona was born to Patrick and Natalia Chasey, both of whom were secretly agents of the Neo-English government involved in the location and incarceration of illegal superhumans. Both of Riona’s parents were killed when she was very small by CKW agents intent on protecting their secret biotechnological facilities, and Riona was sent to live with her aged but wealthy aunt and uncle. The young girl had no knowledge of her parents and grew up to become the most popular girl in her London grammar, her beautiful figure and stunning intellect earning her many admirers. As she moved into her teens, Riona’s relationship with her aunt and uncle became more strained, with the wild lifestyle she was adopting clashing with their authoritarian values – despite the fact that her grades at school continued not to slip.
At the age of fifteen, Riona attended a national science fair (unwillingly) in Birmingham where her drink was mysteriously spiked with prototype nanomachines, whether by accident or design. These infiltrated her bloodstream and interfaced with her brain, granting her the power to control them at will. She discovered these powers at age sixteen – and stormed out after an argument with her aunt, confident with her ability to provide for herself by synthesising whatever she needed from thin air, never to return.
She squandered these talents for several years, partying in London, maintaining her perfect appearance with her powers, and eventually moving to an expensive flat in trendy Lutonopolis where she would eventually be discovered by the very same agency that her parents had worked for…
Super Powers :
Morph – Riona can spontaneously change the shape of her body, using her tiny nanomachines to rip trace elements from the air and remold her flesh. This process is more painful the more extreme the change. Riona is limited in morphin to vaguely human shapes, as she has not learnt to seriously modify her external structure. She cannot duplicate super powers, unless they are a physical result of external body features.
In order to imitate another person, Riona will need to get a good look at them. She can make a decent imitation of facial features from a photograph, but nothing that would pass close scrutiny.
Modify - by using a small sample of her bodily fluids (blood, spittle, etc), Diva can, over time, subtly alter the world around her. Examples of what she is currently capable of include pricking her finger to release nanomachines over a dress to rebuild it in a different colour, or physically altering someone else’s body. The nanomachines can self-replicate, so theoretically she only needs a single robot to effect something, but the more she contributes, the faster the change she uses will occur. She can also construct objects from thin air, although she needs the technical knowledge of how they work to allow the nanomachines to construct them.
Weaknesses :
EMP : If affected by a weapon producing electromagnetic pulse, all of Riona’s powers will shut down, causing her to be stuck in any form she is currently in. However, a few will survive, and eventually recreate the others, meaning that she is not permanently disabled by these effects.
Fragile - Diva Ex Machina is quite fragile, compared to the other muscle-bound heros on the team.
Bitchy – Riona sometimes has trouble controlling her sharp tongue and volatile emotions, which can lead to intra-team rivalries. She often won’t hesitate to speak her mind.
Gear :
None (she can make what she needs)

Quite possibly my chapter 2 character.
Real Name: ElKal
Superhero Secret Identity: The Centurion
Race: Alien (unknown species)
Appearance: A seven foot tall humanoid alien with green skin, no body hair and an atheletic, although not overly muscular build. Centurion superficially resembles a human being, with the appropriate number of eyes, mouths, ears, digits etc, although his internal structure differs considerably. He also has no fingerprints. His facial features are, by earth standards, of aristocratic stock; a casual, if educated observer may notice a surprising resemblance to a young Julius Caesar in the alien's visage. His combat uniform consists of a red spandex bodysuit, a brown belt with a hanging studded apron, and a helmet complete with yellow plume, while when not in action he enjoys wearing a white military-style dress uniform complete with Wescorp logo.
Age: ~5,000
Personality: ElKal was sent to earth to prevent the disturbance – otherwise known as the thing awoken by the SSR - from completing whatever nefarious deed it will do. Thus his goals are solely focused towards this aim, and his interaction with the secret reserve may press this issue. His long military career on his homeworld allows him to be a natural leader. When in combat situations, the phrase ‘the end justifies the end’ drives his actions; if the earth is destroyed as a consequence of banishing the evil thing which dwells within, so be it (although he does prefer not to kill his enemies unless it is strictly necessary). As detailed in his flaws, he is arrogant and heavily sexist. He also thinks little of the combined power of the human race, knowing himself to be in every way their superior, apart from human cuisine, which he acknowledges as far superior to that of his homeworld. He particularly likes Wesburgers.
Super-Secret Origin Story:
ElKal’s species originate on a strange world orbiting a solitary red star in the galactic core. Far older than mankind, they had the strange ability to ‘regenerate’ every hundred years, where an individual would die, but be reborn in a new body at the moment of death. Their memories would slowly return as the child grew up, to be intact by adulthood. Only murder or accidental death before the regeneration could prevent this; an occurrence understandably remote due to the exceptional survivability of the species. Population on their homeworld stayed stable at 100,000, with a child only being born when a suitable soul was available and ‘new’ individuals only conceived if one died permanently. Thus, despite their high technological ability, the race survived in an idyllic agrarian society, only taking up arms if their peace was threatened and never leaving their homeworld.
However, near the end of humanity’s 20th century, the race’s stargazers began to detect a strange misalignment in the stars. Something was happening, something that could destroy the very universe itself as they knew it and threaten their idyllic existence forever. Pooling their multitudes of knowledge in the limited time available to develop intergalactic transport, they devised a faster-than-light craft able to take one individual to the source of this disturbance, a small, backwater world known to it’s inhabitants as ‘Earth’ far from their world in one of the galaxy’s spiral arms. The species’ males communed in their capital to hold a free and democratic election to select the individual who would travel to ‘Earth’ and ensure a future for everyone. They selected ElKal, a man who in past lives had been a celebrated general, planet-uniting politician, doctor, scientist, martial arts master, artist, explorer and many other vocations. Nearing his regeration, ElKal would be at his peak physical condition when he arrived on earth, only months before his hundredth’s birthday, which coincidentally would occur only seconds after the prophesised disruptive event was due to occur. ElKal travelled in stasis for almost a decade across the galaxy, crashing as a blazing fireball in rural Bedfordshire in the late summer of the year nineteen ninety nine by the human calendar. In less than six months he needed to devise a way to prevent the destruction of the universe, so, after scanning every human database on earth, chose an appropriate moniker and uniform and decided to volunteer to join the SSR and fight the menace head-on.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Alien Physiology - Centurion's species are much stronger and have greater endurance than a human being - to superhuman levels. He can survive a blizzard and only feel a chill, wade in lava with little more effect than a hot bath, and take being hit by an anvil like a pillowfight. Knives warp or break in contact with his skin. He can bend steel with his bare hands, support bridges on one finger, and control his powers to the extent that he can pick up an angel dancing on the head of a pin. His lungs can extract oxygen even when filled with water. His hair, if woven together, is stronger than spider silk. A breath, if wanted, can level a forest like toppling a house of cards. He’s simply better at almost everything than earthlings.
Combat-Minded - Centurion's alien mind lends itself well to fighting (as it does to most other tasks). He can predict an opponent's move and counter them accordingly, moving not with amazing speed but with unexplainable purpose, countering an opponent’s moves like a choreographed dancer. When commanding a larger strategy, his keen mind ensures the best performance from his forces.
Breathe in Space - Centurion can both inexplicably fly and breathe in space. He did not have these powers on his homeworld – some mysterious energy field must have altered him on his long journey across the stars.
Disadvantages:
Mysoginist - In Centurion's home culture, women are little more than pleasure and reproductive slaves for males. He is unsettled with the idea of women running around with super powers.
Sugar Sugar Honey Honey - Sucrose is both an aphrodisiac and narcotic to Centurion's species. Any sweet food, or indeed table sugar will drug him. Proximity to a large amount of pure sucrose is enough to render his powers useless.

The stuff in red are changes for chapter two.
Real Name: Jonathon Lemmands
Superhero Secret Identity: The Ronin (Usually just Ronin in conversation)
Race: Vampire (Not immeadiatly appearent to those who don't recognise vampires)
Appearance: Ronin looks much like a drop out from the Matrix. Long black overcoat, black slacks, black t-shirt. He stands tall at 6'5" and has handsomely dishevelled hair (A vampire never looks like he's unprepared. He just looks rough and ready in a rougishly handsome way.). Even after his "reawakening" as Johnaton, the vampire still sticks to his usual attire, but, with much pressing and eventual forcing by Wescorp, has submitted to having the SSR logo stamped onto the back of one of his coats.
(See Origins) When he isn't on a mission nowadays, however, he can be considered somewhat normal. Old habits dictate that he is still somewhat stiff-necked in general and especially on missions, he has been known to crack jokes. Essentially, he is not simply the Ronin anymore. He is Jonathon Lemmands, who just happens to be the Ronin.
Super-Secret Origin Story: Ronin doesn't remember much about his past life, save the fact that he had hit rock bottom and chose to become a vampire to gain the powers bestowed upon one. Or so he believed. The events of chapter one, however, opened his eyes to the fact that his becoming a vampire had been primarily to save himself, and survive as opposed to making a name for himself. The vampire Bartholomew forced his hand to a degree, and the burning of the family home at John's own hands led the Lemmands heir to accept his fate, unwilling to fight the tides of inevitability any longer. He knows that he was born sometime in 19th century, possibly to a wealthy family. He has vauge recollections about a horrible plauge and the death of his family when he was just nearing adulthood. The rest of his life before his slaying is unknown to him. Again, he now remembers.
This information is known only to Ronin. Ronin's family lived on the outskirts of 19th century New York. After the plauge that took his parents in 1837, Jonathon, aged 18 at the time, tried to take over the estates of his wealthy father. Bartholomew won the battle and Ronin was forced to flee to England, making his way eventually Japan over the course of three years, constantly on the run from his sire. After eight years of as usual a life a vampire can expect, Bart found Jon again. Jonathon was beaten once more but before Bart could kill him, his prey disappeared.
Vampiric abilities: These are the powers and abilities endowed to all vampires: Enhanced strenght, enhanced speed, enhanced agility, supernatural regenetive powers, enhance smell and hearing.
Unnatural longevity: Ronin is nigh impossible to kill, because his heart was removed during his morbid slumber. There are ways to kill him, but I'll get to that in disadvantages.
No mind: This comes about as a result of Ronin's training. When he concentrates only on the opponent before him to the exclusion of all else, he is able to fight much better.
Enchanted pistol: As a reward for the completion of one of his jobs, Ronin's employers enchanted the vampire's pistols with fire magic. They now have the ability to "charge up", which takes a significant amount of time, and spew bullet-like fireballs at targets. The longer he concentrates the magic, the more powerful it is. The most powerful shot the guns are capable of firing has enough power to rip through concrete and level a building. At present, Ronin only has one pistol, the other having been destryed by Charge.
Explosives expert: Through extensive training, Ronin has become especially proficient in the production and setting of explosives. He can wire a car's wheels to blow off with barely a scratch to the chasis, or he can wire that self same car to fly to the moon. One way tickets only.
Fire magic: During the course of chapter one, Ronin discovered that the pistols were not the only thing imbued with a magical flame. Be it that they acted as a conduit of his energy or gradually gave him the power, Ronin now has the ability to conjure fire at will. Mostly at will. For the most part he will use it to coat his sword or some other item in flames, either to enhance it's attacking power or to protect it. He finds it hard to use it in other ways.
Disadvantages:
Vampiric disadvantages: These are the disadvantages endowed upon all vampires: Weakness to sunlight, holy water, the sound of prayer or other holy objects (But not garlic. Don't believe anything you hear.)
Distortion: When a vampire comes into contact with or gets within one foot of (Or can hear clearly) any of the objects he or she is weak to, their world becomes distorted.
If it goes on for too long, the vampire's insides essentially congeal and he dies. In agony. Over the course of about an hour.
Enchanted pistol: With great power, eh? The magic overflow everytime Ronin actually uses the fire magic means that he himself gets burned. The more powerful the shot, the more extensive the wound. The most powerful charge will end up with him having burnt arms and patches of chest burned. He can fire them without using the magic, however. They're just not as effective. The same stands for his fire magic. Any use leaves him drained and he has yet to nullify the damage done to himself by the fire completly.
Loved Ones: Though before he would have remained distant, Jonathon has grown quite attached to the first members of the SSR, regardless of wheter they stayed on or not.
Real Name: Illioto-Kapvik
Superhero Secret Identity: Icicle
Appearance: Illioto is small in stature, and appears very frail. She has fair, pale skin, that verges on a very light blue, yet maintains an alluring quality about herself. She doesn't lend herself well to blatent physical attraction, however there is a sense of mystery about her that, some may argue, makes her all the more appealing. Her eyes are dusky and dark, with cool blue iris' ringing deep pupils. She has dark, brunette hair, stopping short of her shoulders and splayed at the ends into a dozen little tipes, these are dyed both red and blue. Across her back, with wings stretched across her shoulder blades and tail-feathers touching the small of her spine, is the tattoo of a great and mighty bird, unlike anything seen on Earth.
Fighting Crime, Illoto is decked completely in white spandex, aside from her hands and face. She also wears high-heeled boots of the same shade, and across her chest is spread a great bird, outlined in blue. Draped across her shoulders is a long white cloak, with a hood that she uses occasionally (especially when it's raining). Other than her hood, the only thing that is covering her face is a small, white eyemask.
Personality: Illioto is the Princess of a land she never talks about. Blessed by a God who she only worships in private. Exiled for reasons unknown. She is an enigma, and likes to keep it that way. Quiet, mysterious and understated. She's by no means anti-social, and is certaintly able to take an order, however after so long on her own, and being from another culture - She's still working on rebuilding her social skills. She won't open up to anybody she isn't extraordinarily close too, though and may get hostile with anybody who tries to probe too deeply.
Other than that she's quite bright and quite curious, yet only about certain things. She's not afraid to speak her mind, or let people know when they are boring her and it's not unknown for her to simply walk away from anybody who is really testing her patience. In her opinion, the world is too large for her to waste time on things that she finds tiring. In private, she's also a very devout woman. Recognising most of her own homelands traditions in miniture. Indeed - She holds no grudge against the people of the Empire or her God, but she has become disillusioned with the rulers - Even her own sister. Who cast away what was a gift from Sikrinaok without a thought. While she tolerates the practice of other religions, after all, they are an essential part of this lands culture - She cannot tolerate the practice of magic in any way, shape or form, as it is seen as a heathen practice in her homeland. She also reviles the presence of any 'false god' or an avatar of one.
Super-Secret Origin Story: Born to a humble family on the day that Silu-Tonrar, Grand Emperor of the frozen lands of Antecia and her mighty Empire, died in a raging battle with Tunikra seperatists. As is customary on the death of the ruler of the lands, Illioto, and her twin-sister Anana, were taken to the High Temple of Sikrinaok, where a new ruler would be chosen. The blood of the new borns was spilled onto the alter, those who defiled it slaughtered mercilessly. For Illioto and her sister, however, something extraordinary happened. As her sisters blood hit the alter (her being a few seconds older), a great yellow light engulfed the two, signaling them to be the new rules of all Antecia. Whilst her sister was proclaimed ruler of the land, something extraordinary happened to Illioto. Inexplicably, the great bird symbol of Sikrinaok was emblazened onto her back.
From then on the two, cut-off from their familes, were raised in the Great Pyarmid within the city of Sikrinaok it's self. While they looked almost identical, their interests proved to be very different in later life. Anana burned with a pirmal fire, an excellent fighter and inspiring leader, who would be looked up and adored by all Antecia in later life. Illioto on the other hand, was more of a diplomat, devouting her time to quiet study, prayer to the One Great Lord and research. Anana was shewrd, just as Illioto was strong, but they could niether best each other in their respective fields. They also fought wildly growing up, having clashes that were remiesenct, to the watching aides assists, of two Wolverines battling over a territory. Which is how they gained their respective names. Empress Anana-Kapvik, a symbol of beauty and power, and an insiration to all Antecia. And Illioto-Kapvik, the wise and respected. She who charmed foriegn dignatries from other branches of the Empire - Yet always alone. The abandoned - The orphan.
Yet still, all was well - Until the day that Illioto's strange ice powers emerged. She saw them as a delayed blessing from Sikrinaok, the rest of the Empire wasn't so generous. There are two sanctioned magicks in Antecia - That of snow, and that of blood. You either have both, or you have none, anything else is seen as a bad omen, a curse from the Remnants of power from the Titans of old. The preists cried out for her blood, however even though she had always fought violently with her sister - Anana couldn't bear to see her sacrficed. Instead she took as much pity as she could on Illioto, and exiled her from the land into the Artic wastes that surround it. She was marched through the streets in chains, then lined up with other criminals, who had commited crimes of unspeakable natures. She looked on as they were stripped bare, unlike her. Exile or no, she was still royalty, and nobody would dare humiliate her in such a way.
Miraculously, she survived where all the others perished. She walked the lands for days and for nights, Antecians were used to bitter tempratures - However this was unlike anything Illioto had every felt. It chilled even her, who was incredibly resiliant even by her countrymen's standards, to the bone. She fought off predators with her powers, eating the snow to retain her energy, then feeling sick in the stomach afterwards. She was afraid she was going to die, until off in the distance, a building rose from her snow-swept vision.
Inside it was unlike anything she had ever seen. A building of almost solid metal, and materials she'd never seen before. Inside were symbols, and writings, and machines! Oh, the machines! They were giant screens, with symboled letters that made things appear as you pressed them. It was like a wonderland, yet it confused her so. She understood little of it, and the more she ventured inside, the more preplexed she became. She knew that people had lived here, people of a strange and foreign culture. Perhaps from the many lands her peoples armies and explorers had charted beyond the Empire. Where there were people - There was bound to be food. And eventually, she found it. Get stockpiles of it. Dried and frozen, able to be stored for years without spoiling. As if the residents were expecting to be here a long time, with no outside aid.
And here she stayed for years on end. Teaching herself the strange language, mastering the machines and learning from them. She learned about lands beyond Antecia, the dots on the map beyond the boarders of the Empire. She absorbed all the information she could, spending her days cracking access codes and passwords to devour more information. She learned that she was in an abandoned military base, part of a scientifc project to chart the Antartic region. She learned of the people beyond her land, their skins less pale than her own people. She learned of hot climes, of deserts, of so many fascinating things... Then he came.
A scientist - A mad one. He took over the base, turned it into his secret base of operations. Illioto knew she couldn't stay anymore, knew she'd be discovered and what happened then... Was anybodies guess. So one fateful day, she climbed into one of his vehicles leaving for the mainland, stowing away until they reached solid ground once more. After a daring escape, she found herself in a strange new land... This land was Lutonopolis.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Illoto is master of all ice and ice related powers. She can release it in blasts, cubes, sculptures, anything her imagination allows.
Disadvantages:
Illioto is very weak to natural flame and high-tempratures (though not magical fire), natural fire will also easily be able to melt away her powers, rendering them useless, and on contact with her body could be devestating.
She also gets dehydrated very easily.
Whilst she has grown used to many aspects of Neo-English culture, she still has much to learn and refuses to abandon her own religon, despite her attempts to keep it alive and comply by it being realtivly feeble. She will also lash out uncharacteriscally violently at somebody who tries to delve too deep in her past.
Gear: A uniquely marked ceremonial dagger from her homeland, with which she carries out many of her religious rituals.

Real Name: John Collins
Superhero Secret Identity: Doom Racer
Appearance: A well-built toned young man, with uncharasteristical short brown hair and brown eyes, as well as a pretty manly but common face, often covered in stubble. He has tattoos in both of his arms, depicting several common biker motifs like weapons and snakes.
When fighting foes, Doom Racer suffers an aesthetical metamorphosis, his appearance changing from the uncharasteristical motor-fan rebel to a shape of fears and myths. He wears tattered nomex piloting suits with arcane occult motifs on them, his gloves are worn out and two cybernetic clawed hands sprout from them. he seems to carry a similar device in the boots aswell His helmet, broken and chinked all around, is reinforced by crudely nailed metal plates. From the partially broken visor, also reinforced with metal plates on the left side, a glowing light can be seen where his right eye could be, probably because of the built-in optics. His voice sounds distorted and unnatural, and he has a characteristical heavy breath aswell. His arms are wrapped in chains that hang losely down them, and apparently he can unwrap them and make use of them as weapons.
Personality: Basically your street hound, Doom Racer is always suspicious of everyone, and not eager to share bonds with people of umproven loyalty. However, proven friends of him might find him to be a reliable support. He also lives on an adrenaline rush, and can't resist taking nigh impossible challenges, edging on the stubborness. It has to be said he's not a mindless adrenalin addict; in fact, his racing past have given him a quick, adaptable fast thinking, in pair with his reflexes. Like most rebels, he just loves to bang to metal rythms, women and mind-altering substances, albeit he will never EVER drink before driving.
Behind all this hard shell case, though, John has a soft spot for Dunstable mutants, due to his past background. However, not all people know this, so it can't be exploited as weakness.
Super Secret origin Story (placeholder, will be filled eventually): John Collins was born in Dunstable, from a heavily mutated couple. He had almost all the bets to become an ugly, lump ridden towering humanoid, but instead, he was born as plain human. Fate played a funny bet, and instead of inheriting the mutant traits of his parents, the genes somehow combined in an unique way in wich no mutation was inherited. Due to this extremely odd nature, John had always his heart divided. He felt both human and from Dunstable, and it looked like both things excluded each other mutually. To the muties, he was a human. To the other people, he was a Dunstable freak. He suffered for such condition, specially during his youth.
Somehow, John struggled and eventually suceed into getting out from that tense situation, eventually joining the RAF, overcoming all the hardships. He soon became an "Ace", due to his quick wits and innate penchant for piloting, and it looked that "Doomboy" Collins, the Dunstable Ace, had earned the respect he had desired for so long...
Until some sore losers, jealous of his sucess, dug up his past and used it to justify that Collins was infact, a mutant under human disguised, given that he was born from a mutant, and thus disqualified to be a RAF pilot. Collins countered with extensive DNA analysis showing that no mutant trait was present on him, but it didn't neutralize these critics. Instead, it devolved into a very complicated militar justice process in wich Collins was suspended temporaly until a conclusion was made. There was no outcome, and it would stretch over the years until present day.
Disqualified to be a pilot, John Collins he then turned his sights on car races, where his piloting training would give him a competitive edge. He did earn quite a name there, but he wasn't satisfied. He needed payback, retribution, and sought vengeance on the ultimate root of his troubles: Wescorp.
Being aware of the SSR project, John resolved to turn himself into a mockery of what wescorp promoted, a disturbing menace whose only sight would be a reminder of all the hoaxes and calamities that such an hypocrite corporation had done. And thus, Doom Racer was born. A haunted demon of technology, who preyed on Wescorp facilities, spreading chaos and terror.
But all things end, however. Doom Racer's campaign of terror was cut short after a hard battle with SSR members, a battle in wich only the numerical advantage had been the real key. A combination of Stapler and the sea-member Marine focused in minimizing the dangerous attacks of Doom Racer, by taking advantage of his weakness: water. However, they never took in account how weak was he when soaked, and it caught them off guard when he still retaliated despite his EM being disabled.
The battle itself was so intense that, soon after he was caught and put in the SSR cells, John was offered a spot in the superhero team. He was reluctant, of course, but Wescorp pulled his cards well, and finally he joined, with the written demands of a higher Dunstable help fund, and funding for the excruciatingly long militar justice problem that hadn't still been dealt with.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
-Master Driver: Give Doom racer something that has a driving/piloting dispositive that is not too bizarre and he'll smoothly handle it. Works with aircraft too. He may not be able to return it in one piece, mind; SSR's dangerous line of work 'n that. This also allows him to a certain degree of "personalization" (tuning).
-Claws of the doomed: These cybernetic, gauntlet-shaped dispositives placed on Doom Racer's hands are responsible for some of his skills, such as the ability to discharge powerful EM jolts that double as tazers on organic life forms. The EM fields are so intense they can generate plasma states from the air, resulting in throwable plasma balls. The grip of these is extremely solid and they're sharp enough to claw through most things, allowing him to use them as weapon as well as a help for wallclimbing.
-Wallclimbing: With the combination of both his physical shape and razor claw-like dispositives in his hand and feet, Doom Racer can crawl through most surfaces, and even hang upside down in the ceiling. The chains on his arms also seem to help into this function, as they can grapple as whips do.
Disadvantages:
-Water: Electricity and water don't really mix. His claws of the doomed won't really work well when soaked. Mind that they will still scratch.
-Clumsy grip: When wearing the claws, John cannot use things that require small swift movements like diminute cellphone keypads. He'd probably rend them to ribbons, fry them or both.
-Soft spot for Dunstable mutants.
Gear:
-Fire-proof racing suit, with arcane symbols all over.
-Reinforced helmet with built in rebreather and optics (explaining the red glaring light).
-High quality steel chains.
-Claws of the Doomed.
-Boots with retractile talons.

Big update of Equalizer's profile to reflect the ways in which she's changed so far: ENGAGE!
Update On Doom Racer's. Enjoy!
Very Short Profile. Just 'cos.
Real Name: Teddy Mercury
Superhero Secret Identity: Mr Fahrenheit
Appearance:
Suspiciously like the lead singer of a certain band...
Personality:
Previously quiet and reserved, Mr Fahrenheit has been driven to semi-insanity by the grusome death of his crewmates. He is unpredictable and often obsessed with "having himself a real good time," which may make him difficult to work with.
Super-Secret Origin Story:
Teddy Mercury was a promising astronaut in the Neo-english corporate space program; indeed, he was selected to be one of the crew on the prodigious Mars Flight which launched in 1998, so the landing took place on Millenium Eve. However, the rocket ship on the way to Mars was irradiated by BIZZARE COSMIC ENERGY from a passing comet, killing almost all of the crew instantly, but awakening the latent mutation within him. The mission was aborted, and Teddy returned to earth discovering the myriad of uses for his new powers.
Due to his links with, The Neo-English Space Agency Mr Fahrenheit is kept on a very tight leash by the government and the Queen. His activities are constantly monitored by men in dark suits and sunglasses, even when it isn't sunny.
Super Powers/Extraordinary Abilities:
Mr Fahrenheit is a speedster hero; he can travel at the speed of light. He can also fly, leaving a vapor trail as he burns through the skies. He can also "make a supersonic man out of you", tempoarily transferring his powers to another individual for a very short amount of time. Like a tiger, he can defy the laws of gravity.
Disadvantages:
Mr Farhrenheit reaches an incredible temperature due to frictionwhen using his powers - with protracted use, his skin can be as warm as 200 degrees. This severely limits other's interaction with him and their borrowed use of his powers.
Gear: Red Spandex uniform, with an unknown coat of arms on the chest.
Quote: "Don't stop me now"
And before anybody asks - No I didn't put him up to it. :p

Filled with all sorts of Casino related paraphernalia. Wanted Casino girls, but couldn’t afford them. -A big bag of ‘explosive dice’

-As he has spent too much time under florescent lighting, can’t bear ‘natural’ light as a result.
-Weak as a very weak thing.

-As annoying and needy as hell. Finds it hard to keep henchmen.
Gear:

Loved Ones:
None, unless you count his mother who still thinks he’s a high class businessman. She still keeps any newspaper cuttings with his name on them. She dosn't really read them though.

A short, NPC profile:
Name: Detective Chief Inspector Thomas Tyme
Age: 31
Appearance: Lean and slightly hunched over, Tommy wears his blonde hair as close as close cropped can get. A joyless figure, Tommy is almost always fully decked out in his police uniform with a long coat thrown over the top.
Personality: Tommy loves his job, and values the fair upholding of the law. He also believes in the fair, and unbaised treatment of super humans and now the SSR has been closed down, wants to make an effort to further protect the masked men and women who protect the streets. Has also recently become obcessed with the death (which he suspects to be murder) of his mentor and father figure, Figurehead.
Not-So-Super-Secret-Origin-Story: Tommy was once the kid sidekick, and bestest friend in the whole wide world, of Neo-England's finest champion Figurehead. As well as helping the masked crusader foil the plots and ploys of some of the greatest super villains of the day, Tommy was also an honourary member of the League of Figureheads - A team of heroes that has been largely erased from the minds of the average Neo-Englander by the SSR marketing machine. When Tommy got older, instead of following in his father figures footsteps, he opted for a career in law enforcement - Joining the forces at 16, hoping to make a real difference to low level, mundane crime. It was an uphill struggle, and due to his experience in the field of super humanity, he found himself dealing more with the rising number of offences commited by them than anything else. He loved his job regardless, and carried it out to the best of his ability - Until the shocking news of Figureheads death. He's vowed not to rest until he finds the men responsible, going as far as to convince the Chief Constable to pioneer a team of Super Human officers to use for this cause.
Powers: Can slow time to a crawl for everyone but himself.
Disadvantages: Has to work within the confines of the law, or he loses his job. Also has a lot of paper work.
