Yes WW4, because we all know WW3 happened already.

So lets get this thing planned out. I will make sure to get thick leather gloves and a chain for the handling of the Rolk.

But more importantly I propose when america is busy fighting back mobs of angry rednecks, and the chinease are taking the coasts and all the contries around isreal are all good and nuked....

We all gather supplies and head on up to the Canadian North. I think KO can secure a vehicle or two for personnel and supplies.

I can only offer a mini van and a red neck brother with at least 6 firearms and hunting bows and black powder rifles. even the equipment to make ammo.

This week I was watching the students protesting at the UCLA campus in California where a vote is coming down to raise the tuition fees another 32% for next year (STORY HERE). The state of California can't help out cause...well, they have no money to give. The federal government has bailed out the banks and auto companies, so why not help with education costs? Many students and their families cannot afford an increase in college fees, but it's happening all across America because many states just don't have the funds. Unemployment is over 10% now, and in certain job markets like construction, it's closer to 20%. In my neck of da woods many small business are failing. I've seen first-hand 'going out of business' signs at quite a few places recently. Most are mom & pop stores, small construction businesses, farms, etc. It's a little alarming. I can't speak for the rest of the country, but clearly the HUGE stimulus package that the federal government thought would bring us out of the recession is not working at all. Small businesses ARE the backbone of America. They provide a huge tax base for the states they are in. When they start falling like they are now, America is in trouble. I'm NOT blaming the Obama administration for the trouble our economy is in right now. That is something that has been brewing in the works for years. But the direction they are taking this country is wrong. Add on that crazy health care plan that congress is trying to pass, and the next thing we can look forward to is a depression. But you won't hear them use the word depression. What economists are saying right now is we may be headed for a 'double dip' recession and unemployment going to 15%+ across the board sometime in 2010. When work does run out, I may put in for one of those government grants and do a study on why cow poop stinks, and the effect it has on people when they step on a cow pattie.

Not sure which is the scariest:
1)That $98 billion was wasted.
2)That 1 out of every 20 dollars spent by the Feds was either ineptitude or corruption
3)That $98 billion wasted represents only 1/20th of what we're spending, or
4)That these numbers are likely underestimating how bad it really is.

Couple of Issues

Hi there,

I've made a map that I'm pretty pleased with (my first) but I've got 2 problems.

Firstly the AI doesn't do anything, even though I've added Skirmish teams.

Secondly, in a skirmish game, all of the Tiberium Spikes and Bunkers that I've placed are not there.

I've also tried making a blank map with two starting locations, two tiberium fields and a tiberium spike and the same issues occur; the AI does nothing and the spike disappears.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Over the weekend I took advantage of the unseasonably nice weather and made preparations for the winter season, cleaning up some things in my yard, putting away the air-conditioners, etc. Hence why no weekend blurb. In fact, I stayed off the internet for the most part and took a little break, with the exception of checking my emails. I wanted to go see that new movie 2012 that opened in theaters on Friday, but I figured our local theaters would be packed, so I'll wait till things settle down a bit, or just wait till the DVD is released and watch it at home. Did any of ya see the new movie? If so, how did ya like it?

I have been working on new tiles for Yuri's Revenge for some time now. I have about 100 or so tiles for my mod/campaign and about another 200 tiles for whatever for the urban settings and plan to make about another 100 for temperate and 100 for snow settings. I was wondering if anyone out had new tilesets that they created they would like to share to give the C&C world more options when creating maps. If they have stuff they would like to share I will hopefully be posting a new mix file by the end of the year. You can send me what terrain it is for, the tiles, and personal info for credits

help picking a side

Hi guys!!!
I am new to this forum, I have been reading it alot (without being rgistered) until I finally decided to join.

Now I have a question: Which side should I pick between the Allies and the Soviets. ATM I am playing vs AI because I first want to learn some basic techniques before going into MP.

I generally like the allies because of the Prism Tanks and the BFs (pwnage much?) Also, america can paradrop and korean black eagles just pwn everyone.

Soviets have the apocalypse tanks (which can be adquired at a good price with refinery) and the kirov airships (which can easily destroy bases). Also, Boris looks quite neat.

I just can't decide on which to pick! Some recomendations please (no "make up your mind" or "see which you like best" please!!)

The H1N1 flu virus, also known as the swine flu, continues to make it's way around America. To date, over 22 million Americans have gotten the bug, and over 4,000 have died from it. I didn't get a flu shot yet, mainly because there isn't any available in my neck of da woods. But I haven't decided if I'm even gonna get one. It's currently not widespread in my area, so hopefully things will stay that way. I work outside and get plenty of fresh air. When I go to public places, I stay away from restrooms and wash my hands when I get home. If I see anyone coughing or sneezing, I don't go near them. I had a bad case of the flu back about seven years ago. Was very sick for at least 5 days. It's no fun, that's for sure. Anyhoot, I wish all of you very good health.
