The fact that EA is currently holding a generals tournament, and that there is nothing announced to come, and that they cant help but pump out a sub-par game every 6 months, tells me that they are probably working on a ra3 expansion, and starting up a new game project to come out soon after that.

its like the show stargate sg1. The movie was great, but then the series came out. wasnt as good, but once people got over that, they settled in with the crap quality and just kept pumping **** out until people lost interest. Then they popped out a expansion pack (atlantis) and people got excited again, but it was more of the same, so **** it.

what was my point again? Oh.... well, i am am sure generals 2 is coming. but that depends on whether or not tiberium has anything worth salvaging, and how quickly they pump out that steaming load of a expansion. Oh wait, I heard they want to release it in the form of sorta like booster packs. good luck with that crap ea, I would rather play something with a ounce of realism that doesnt offend males who arent booby crazy.

im sorry if i offended anyone at EA, but I grew up playing cnc games, and it was good up until firestorm, then it died for me. Im sure it had something to do with the Juggernaut (the original in firestorm, which was continued in cnc3).

ive been listening to a lot of video game nerd rants about various games, and listening to a lot of angry politics, and im tired. so dont hold it against me ples.

heck yeah!!!Generals 2 shld come out...or at least be made in the future instead of cnc 4 or something...

I love both Generals and Red Alert, my two favorite RTS series but ever since EA took over Westwood the games have been getting crappier (with the exception of Generals, I don't care for the other CNC games, the ones with Kane and GDI, y'know). I wish EA would put some more god damned effort into their work

I'm no fan of the recent release of Red Alert, but you can't blame EA for everything...I mean red alert 1 (done by westwood) had no naval AI coded in at all during skirmish, at least EA in later releases did address that issue...so in that aspect it hasn't been "crap" every release

EA is on wall street....they have to meet shareholders expectations every quater or so, games must be released at a miminal period of time which leads to all sorts of problems.

Were the consumers more exigent and they would be doing good games (instead of spamming these lately s***** games) or would go bankrupt. But, expect informed, competitive and good taste gaming community is beyond the dreams.
Video games is one of those industries where mass production only brought bad.
