Back once again

and just recovered from a weekend at Glastonbury

I had a FANTASTIC WEEKEND loved every minute of it even the rain, sludge didn’t spoil things and the loos weren’t too bad either.

It started with a quiet although very wet journey done there on Thursday evening after work, we decided to make the walk to the site rather than sit and wait and hope that the rain stopped. So we all put on our boots grabbed our bags and set off, not gone far before my sister told me i should have put my sleeping bag in a plastic bag to keep it dry so after some rearranging we set off again.

On the way to the site we passed loads of abandoned cans of lager where bags/boxes had broken from the strain there was even a lass walking in sandles and a short skirt not sure where she thought she was going, I am thinking she thought there was a 5 star hotel

When we finally got through and found somewhere to camp God smiled down on us and said “Okay I will give em a break” and the rain stopped while we put up out tents. Once done it was certainly time for bed as it was after 1am but first we checked our clothes and yep most items were wet

Okay then time for some pics

Our marker as to where to find our tents, you needed one as the sites are huge!!

Inside my tent was pretty cosy in other words only space for one person plus backpack etc.

The loos or one set anyway you walk up the steps and into the loo, which is basically a hole with a seat on it everyone can see your feet below the door lol then below it is a huge pit where everything drops!!! Needless to say I didn’t poo in these loos no way!!

Might need to scroll quickly with eyes closed over next pic hehehe!!!

The portaloos which weren’t nowhere near as bad as i expected unless you went in after a bloke hehehe!! Not really not all men were bad even though some were!!

The Glasto rain on Friday

My fave clothes comfy and dry

My boots after I had removed an inch of mud from all round them, wish I had taken a pic of before too.

The tepee field it was lovely and quiet up there.

The Pyramid stage

Saw Kate Nash, The Feeling (for a few mins) The Fratellis, Kings of Leon, Crowded House, James Blunt, The Raconteurs, Amy Winehouse and The Verve on this stage.

The other stage

Saw Jack Penate, Scouting for Girls, Mark Ronson

The John Peel Stage

Saw Glasvegas and The Ting Tings

That’s enough for now I think
